We were apprehensive on registration and climbing some rather steep stairs to the 3rd level, over worn carpets, beside cracked walls to arrive at a wonderful, spotless and comfortable room with a perfect bathroom, huge balcony with views over the marshes. Excellent breakfst to order - the only disappointment was "kippers" was just one - but then I am greddy!

Warm and cosy hotel with parking and spa. We stayed in the pent house and it was great value for families with small kids. Our kids loved the bunk bed so much. There are not much restraints and pubs in the village so full kitchen in the room was useful and bar area in the ground floor was also good to spend time with families. Will families come back!

小さめなホテルなので、混み合うこともなく快適に過ごせました。朝食もホテル併設のカフェスペースで取れるのでとても便利です。ちなみに、朝食はパンとヨーグルトのセットか、しっかり目の朝食かのどちらかを選ぶ方式です。 部屋の窓も大きくて太陽の光も入ってくるのでとても明るく、清潔感のあるホテルでした。駅からは5分くらい歩きますが、観光地には近いので便利だと思います。

トイレの流れが悪く何度も流さないといけなかったです。イギリスではよくあることですが。それ以外は部屋も広くて清潔で、朝食も美味しくとても快適でした。

Warm and cosy hotel with parking and spa. We stayed in the pent house and it was great value for families with small kids. Our kids loved the bunk bed so much. Very disastisfied about the room and its minimal comfortable and dirty bathroom. Impossible to make the room dark too - clearly not a room to sleep in? Despite being given a late check out on the evening, the manager comes banging at the door in the morning and when told a late check out had been approved, instead of apologising, states “who authorised this?” A poor experience on every level.

This is a great hotel right in the historic center close to shops and very good restaurants. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was solid. We had some difficulty with the parking app and had to park on the street. Maybe because we have a US phone number the app wouldn’t load. It would be a lot easier if there was another parking system. But other than that, this is a great place to stay.

I had a lovely one night stay. Staff friendly. Responded promptly to my question before I booked that they could safely store my bicycle. Comfortable room. I booked a cosy room but this was not a small room and had everything I needed. Good Breakfast

The room was a good size and clean/comfortable. Quite a lot of stairs to get to it! Parking - very important in Rye - was easy. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast very good. However the hotel was looking a bit tired - carpets very worn on stairs - and the windows in our room had swolen so wouldnt quite close - not great given we had really strong winds whilst there which were very noisy. But very close to lots of great restaurants.

Felt unsafe as our room was close to the back door where if one broke through the glass panel from the outside one can easily use the inner door handle to come into the building. This is because there is no locking system on the inner aspect of the door and only a locking system on the outside. A few times during my stay i found this back door open and not shut securely so anyone could have come in without a key .This should be investigated as a matter of priority for the safety of your guests.

Such friendly helpful staff. Early check in because room was ready. Very tasty breakfasts. Superb location in town centre but with a leafy view and peaceful large covered outside area.
