周辺のホテルと比べてリーズナブルだと思ったが、リフトがなく、せまい階段だらけ。重いスーツケースを持って上り下りするのは大変。

とにかく街の中心から遠く、バスかタクシーを使わないとどうにもなりません。部屋は素敵ですがとても小さいです。また、階段がギシギシいったり、周りの部屋の音もけっこう聞こえます。スタッフは親切で、併設のレストランも良いので、足があればよいホテルだと思います

Had 2 rooms booked for 2 nights
Reception were helpful on checking in but the rooms were in separate buildings which was annoying for us and both on second floor so difficult with luggage on steep stairs.
The double room had no TV remote and the soap by the hand basin didn’t work .
They fixed it the next day but these should be checked prior to arrival !
Breakfast was self serve
The coffe wasn’t good and wasn’t that hot either and the Toast machine was set too high so it was virtually burnt.
There was some fruit which was mainly tinned pears with a couple of bits of strawberry on top and some pastries but the cooked breakfast was not appetising so we didn’t try it …
This was my second stay in this hotel but think would look for somewhere else next time.

Hotel buildings have character and offer good , clean accommodation. Comfortable bed and well refurbished en-suite. Useful parking facilities in an area of general parking restrictions and charges. Great location by Clifton Village.

Breakfast needs ordering the night before which is not my preferred option.
Be aware there is an annex 2nd building which is ok but has very noisy doors when they are being closed. Always banging if you are on the lower floor.

Stayed overnight to attend a wedding, and location was wonderful. Bed was comfortable and showerroom very good. We were able to park easily as there were few cars parked, but carpark filled rapidly and cars were having to leave without parking. Our room was on the lower ground floor overlooking carpark which was gravelled, so it was very noisy and we had to draw the curtains for privacy, particularly when 2 vehicles decided to park right up against our bedroom window, not great. We didn't buy the breakfast option. Would recommend this hotel though, whilst flagging the carparking/room issues.

I have stayed here a number of times over the years and it has always been an excellent experience. Clean friendly and good breakfast.Parking is appreciated although it can be busy I have never failed to find a spot. Nice touch is having a decent number of tea bags in the room - so many places stint on this but not here. A small point but illustrates that the hotel thinks sensibly how to look after its guests.

Stay at this hotel often. The staff are friendly, the beds are comfy, it’s got a car park which is like gold dust in Bristol, and the hotel is in a perfect location.

I didn’t like my economy room..really small and unwelcoming. The toilet broke at night..no water in the cistern. I reported it in the morning because l couldn’t use it..but the person taking the phone call couldn’t help.
At breakfast there was a table next to me which had people’s leftovers..it wasn’t cleared away for ten mins. Then the table was sprayed ..I had food that I didn’t want sprayed.
The cooked breakfast was overdone..both eggs and the bacon.

The receptionist who checked us in was not even smiling or greeting us, he also failed to tell us the rooms are in a different buildings. We had large luggages and there are no lifts and no hotel staff to help (porters) on either hotel buildings so it was quite important to tell us on advance so that we do not drag large heavy luggages up and down the stairs twice for no reason!
We checked in 5 min before midnight and they told us breakfast has to be booked 24 h prior, so no flexibility there, and we couldn't book breakfast.
Rooms were clean and somewhat spacious.
The morning receptionist was delightful and kind.
The property has a small parking facility and charges £9 per day even though all around on the street was free parking till 9 am (we were just so tired and didn't look before the check-in)

Ok clean and location was good .
I stayed in a ground floor room facing the gravelled car park . The heat wave meant I needed to open the windows. Cars parked right outside my window was not great sadly. Very hot conditions. Couldn’t open curtains in the morning to get dressed due to lack of privacy . People leaving and arriving in the car park.
