Staff was kind, location was great. I had a room in their smaller secondary building and I didn't know the hotel didn’t have a lift so carrying all my bags up flights of stairs wasn't much fun... but everything else was great!

Room was very good. Service was good. Everything very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the breakfast let things down. My eggs benedict was two poached eggs on bacon with a very small dish of hollandaise sauce. My wife's vegetarian breakfast looked like it had been standing around for a good while before serving. Needs improvement!

The room was clean in places, but finer details such as the shower and corners of the room had debris and collected dirt. The noise was the main concern as the floor boards and doors created a lot of noise around the building. The doors do not have anti slam mechanisms, causing them to slam loudly whenever anyone uses them. Didn’t get much sleep. Parking should also be free for guests.

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and functional with everything I needed. On-site parking was a bonus and a very good breakfast (huge sausage!). I'd been disappointed with my stays in other Clifton hotels so was very please to have found this one. I will stay again.
