This hotel gets its price only for being on Grande Anse beach which is ranked #32 in the world. The grounds and walkway out to the beach were nice. The loungers at the beach were nice even though we had to drag them out to the sand ourselves. The beach and pool towels were nice to have. The pool needed cleaning and skimming. It was full of bugs and fly/knats but the pool water seemed clean enough. The air worked great in my room but my son had to change rooms due to air not working. Every night it was a party scene at the hotel next door with loud music until after midnight. If not there, it was loud at the public park on the other side of the hotel and big parties there with the local radio station.I heard small children screeching until midnight. It's walking distance to the IGA grocery store. We found a nice bar/ open restaurant we liked to walk to called the Umbrella. HOUSEKEEPING KNOCKED ON THE DOOR EVERYDAY AT 9AM! I tried to explain it's too early but I don't think she understood. THERE IS NO PLACE TO EAT AT THIS RESORT. No breakfast, no snacks. While I very much enjoyed my oceanfront room view, I would not ask for that room ever . It was on the 3rd floor with NO elevator. I did not know that! I am 62 and it was tough. I amnot overly active but not sedentary either. Overall it was an okay place. No bugs in room. Great ice machine on the 2nd floor.My king bed was comfy but my son's double was not. I would only stay there again if it was half the price of what I paid.

It’s a budget stay. Clean and comfortable best of all a convienient location with direct beach access, also near a shopping center within walking distance. The room was clean and grounds neat. Good accommodation for those who don’t require pampering.

We liked that there was a pool on the compound along with the fact that the beach was a short walk away.

For the price and location, it was a great value. No frills but the price is very reasonable for being right on the beach. Food options were a bit tough especially on a Sunday when much is closed nearby.

An overall good experience, hotel facilities need to be updated and rooms aired out thoroughly so that it doesn’t have that stuffiness. But it was a comfortable stay and staff was polite and helpful.

The property was in a very convenient area, on the beach and access to many restaurants and public transportation. What I did not like was there was no breakfast available so I had to leave my room to get breakfast overall my stay was excellent.

Great ocean view. Comfortable bedding. Showers did not get vey warm. Coffee maker was Vader bad. Restaurant was closed. Older facility. Beach access was good, great longe chairs.

Awesome place, great location!

IF (big if) you like simple, this is the place for you. It was perfect for me. Clean, quiet, close to the beach. Not five star at all, or four, but still wonderful.

The location is excellent. In our exploration of the area, there wasn't anywhere else that we would rather be. The hotel is a little bit older than some of the neighboring newer resorts, the on-site restaurant was closed, but it is located in the center of a fabulous beach. Local restaurants, bars, and grocery stores are all within a two block radius. The staff kept the grounds well groomed, the pool clean, and the rooms spotless.

The hotel was awesome, room were spacious, grounds were kept clean. Close to the beach and a pool on the grounds.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Alamanda. We love it here! It is situated on the most beautiful beach in Grenada, Grand Anse. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly. RIght on the beach and it also has a lovely pool. Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and the shopping mall for anything you need from groceries to souvenirs.

That was a very good choice. Hotel is right by the gorgeous beach, 10-15 minutes to drive from the airport. All kind of shopping stores, restaurants and bars are just in walking distance, scuba diving and snorkeling center next door. Very clean. You can get a safe public transportation to the city St George right there on the street or take a taxi, which is very affordable. People of Grenada generally and hotel’s staff particularly are extremely nice, friendly , welcoming and helpful. It was my first time on this Island and I was traveling alone. I felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely be back again, this time with my friends !

Staff were very friendly. Resort is right on the beach. Disappointed that they don’t have an operating restaurant on property. Room was nice. Resort could be updated.

I had a health issue and needed to go to the ER at 2:30 am. No taxis running at that hour but the owner drove me in to get checked out and then waited to bring me back. Extra-ordinary customer service. The accommodations comfortable but basic, the site has easy access to the beach and the vibe chill. No neon lights, no party scene, just the needed accoutrements for a laid back vacation.

A lovely accommodation located directly by one of the most beautiful beaches in Grenada. The hotel is in need of a few updates, but it was very clean and the friendly and helpful staff made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We will return again.
