We stayed in mid September for 6 nights and enjoyed the quieter low season. This property is a bit older but kept up well. We loved being right on the beach and it was nice there were several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. We rode the bus (a cultural experience in itself!) to the market and also took a tour of the island with Dexter, who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There are several tours available and we highly recommend Dexter's Tours.
Our thanks especially to the hotel staff, Debby Ann, Wendy Ann and Nelson and also the owner, Kourosh, who gave advice on places to go and ways to get there. The staff went above and beyond helping us, always with friendliness and courtesy. They made our stay comfortable and enjoyable!
We highly recommend the Allamanda Beach Hotel!

I was supposed to stay for a week, but I left in about 2 hours. The room was outdated. There were black panels on the windows and I couldn't see out of them. The walls were a sallow yellow color. The ceiling fan was dirty and something was biting me. People in the neighborhood said that you didn't renovate after the hurricane in 2004 and that's what it looked like. Would never stay there or recommend it to anyone.

Property is conveniently located on the beach, with walking distance to food places. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room, pool and environs were kept clean. The space is an old Caribbean styled hotel, nothing fancy, simple and honest. I’d stay there again should I go back to Grenada. Wish they add an on property food space - I think it would do well.

Very comfortable and great location. Local charm and staff was always available to assist with anything needed. I however wish there was more seating areas to enjoy at night even during the day time... with no good and beverage operations, we felt restricted to our room.. but walking distance to local street food vendors, supermarkets and malls... being located on the beach was ideal.. definitely a place to stay and rest your head.. i would stay again

Clean but a bit dated. Rooms could do with a refurb. Electric wires etc was hanging out the walls. And it would of been helpful to know that the restaurant was closed.

Clean and quiet with friendly service. Right on the beach which is very convenient. And quite a bit of food options around the hotel seeing that there is no food on site. The balcony is definitely a plus. I would recommend this hotel.

Property is very tired. Lobby needs some basic upgrades to be more appealing. e.g. reupholstering those old reception cushions & LED lighting. Grounds are basic but very well kept. Staff were very attentive. Rooms are large and room rate was very good. Location top notch. Accessible to food, top beach, transport, airport, etc.
