Modern, clean, comfortable hotel in the area. Easy access to the key destination in south. Staff at the reception and dining were very friendly. Amenities in the bathroom were not renewed for the multiple nights stay (maybe only on request basis), and complimentary tea bags and used cups were not replaced. The hotel is located conveniently in front of Route 1, so a little noisy during the day, but will be quiet in the evening.

Located in the heart of Vik, the hotel offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, leaving a positive impression. During our stay over the New Year holiday, we enjoyed the special "Happy New Year" menu, which was delicious. We stayed in the Junior Suite located on the second floor at the front of the building. While the rate was slightly higher, the room was very spacious, comfortable, and well worth the price. Overall, the hotel is modern, well-maintained, and provided a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Staff was very professional and knowledgeable, room was clean and will described, near several restaurants and supermarkets, I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers or family travelers

Hotel was fine. In fact, if the price was a bit lower I would say it was great. I felt that the hotel was not priced right for the amenities. We stayed at a similarly priced hotel the night before and it had more amenities and comfort items like robes and slippers, sauna and hot tubs.

This hotel has a stunning restaurant and breakfast room (it’s best feature) but there was not a lot of common area space to sit and read a book. Make sure you book a mountain view room or you might end up with a gas station and highway view like we got. If I had known this I would have paid for an upgrade. The bed was hard, the overall quality of the room was just average (cheap finishes) and you have to walk along way with your bags to get to reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, but overall this place is overpriced foe what you get.

Great hotel!

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but the room and bathroom were very accommodating - larger than most in Iceland. The restaurant menu was expensive (very common in Iceland) and somewhat limited. However several restaurants are within walking distance. We loved the pizza place in town. Kria has happy hour drink specials and a beautiful lounge area. Staff was very helpful.

Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved the bar (excellent espresso martini) and the breakfast was delicious and so much variety, also the view from the restaurant is stunning. Great restaurants to choose from nearby and a grocery store across the street.

Great hotel, easy walking to shops, food and beach/ocean.

Das Hotel ist ausgesprochen schön, modern und in manchen Punkten überdesigned. So hübsch das z.B. Bad ist, so unpraktisch ist die Dusche, die zwar hervorragend aussieht, aber man alle Mühe hat, das Bad nicht vollständig unter Wasser zu setzen. Klassischer Architektenübermut (bin selbst einer). Generell muss man aber sagen, dass der Preis völlig überzogen ist - ich würde ihn sogar in die Nähe von unanständig rücken. Island ist teuer, aber wir hatten auf unserer Reise sehr viel günstigere und qualitativ gleichwertige Unterkünfte. Gute Architektur muss nicht automatisch unverhältnismäßige Preise generieren. Wenn man schon so viel bezahlt, sollte, das Frühstück ein Festmahl sein und nicht mit einer billigen Frühstückspension in den Wettstreit treten, wer es billiger kann.
