We were only there for the night. Hotel is very nice. Up to date and modern. Check in was easy and help was pleasant and helpful. Room was well appointed and clean. Wish we would have had a room on the backside of the hotel but not a big issue. My biggest issue with the hotel is the location of the entrance and parking lot. It’s not labeled well to know that you can park close the entrance to check in and drop off your luggage. It was raining/windy when we checked in. Lugging your luggage across the parking lot to the entrance…ugh. You can’t tell that you could park up front by check-in. I suggest some signage to let guest know. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great location in Vik. Views to the north (with northern lights when clear), close to shopping, excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff.

Staff was very professional and knowledgeable, room was clean and will described, near several restaurants and supermarkets, I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers or family travelers

Hotel was fine. In fact, if the price was a bit lower I would say it was great. I felt that the hotel was not priced right for the amenities. We stayed at a similarly priced hotel the night before and it had more amenities and comfort items like robes and slippers, sauna and hot tubs.

This hotel has a stunning restaurant and breakfast room (it’s best feature) but there was not a lot of common area space to sit and read a book. Make sure you book a mountain view room or you might end up with a gas station and highway view like we got. If I had known this I would have paid for an upgrade. The bed was hard, the overall quality of the room was just average (cheap finishes) and you have to walk along way with your bags to get to reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, but overall this place is overpriced foe what you get.

Great hotel!

The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but the room and bathroom were very accommodating - larger than most in Iceland. The restaurant menu was expensive (very common in Iceland) and somewhat limited. However several restaurants are within walking distance. We loved the pizza place in town. Kria has happy hour drink specials and a beautiful lounge area. Staff was very helpful.

Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved the bar (excellent espresso martini) and the breakfast was delicious and so much variety, also the view from the restaurant is stunning. Great restaurants to choose from nearby and a grocery store across the street.

Great hotel, easy walking to shops, food and beach/ocean.

Staff were amazing and woke those of us who wanted to wake up to see the northern lights!

Beautiful, modern room with window that opens like a balcony. Great for viewing auroras. Best breakfast buffet!
