This is a poor man’s five star hotel. At best 3 star hotel. It is crowded at reception desk. People are yelling on hotel staff as rooms are usually not ready when promised. The breakfast is busy with some service. Staff is helpful and efficient but not enough for number of guests at the restaurant. Feel sorry for the staff as they are constantly running around to keep guests happy. Management does not know how to handle the hotel. I would not recommend staying there. Find a decent 3 star hotel instead. These guys charge a lot of money and try to extract more from you on every step of the way

I stayed here for 3 nights just one week before Christmas and I was stunned by how beautiful the festive decorations were in the lobby area. The hotel itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and the food at the 3 restaurants is excellent. The complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour at the Club Lounge was also excellent. The staff were efficient, courteous and always smiling. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional service; and a nice quiet spot

Great room, great view

1. I booked our stay starting Nov 22 (checkin date) till December 7 (checkout date). I informed the hotel that my wife will checkin in the morning of Nov 23 but I am paying for the previous night so the room will be ready when she arrives at 9 AM on the 23rd. The hotel sent me message saying that they can't guarantee unless we pay for the first night. We did. But after all that drama, the hotel failed. When she arrived on 23rd, the room wasn't ready! 2. I stayed at the hotel in 2005. The telephones in the room, which don't work properly haven't been upgraded since then. While the telephones haven't kept up with the times, the room rates have!

There was an overwhelming scent that was nauseating. The scent was all throughout the hotel and quite intense. The furniture and soft surfaces all looked quite used. Scuff marks and spots on the couch.

Perfect staff and good variety of breakfast

Nothing stood out. Room was well cleaned but every morning the cleaners were in a rush. Every morning they kept coming and asking when will we be ready and get out so that they can clean the room. Overall the staffs were rude specially at the main gate. The person who checked us in was likewise. He had no time to take us to the room.

This is a really good hotel for it's location, lobby area, and general service. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only negative I would save was the room had a damp feel in the air, so nothing was ever 100 percent dry.

It's the little things that count with Taj. Had the opportunity to stay at the Taj Lands End for a week. Its my favorite hotel to get away and refresh. An amazing location walking distance to the Bandstand with lots of character. Shah Rukh and Rekha's house is also walking distance and gets lots of traffic especially SRK's 'MANNAT' house. The hotel staff is exceptional and it shows from the moment you enter the hotel. You're treated with class and respect throughout. I hardly get to remember peoples names but exceptional and over the top service gets top praise always. We booked the Club level to participate in the evening and daytime fun snacks. From Tushar at the Reception area, accommodating us to the most amazing room to Deepak our room attendant who made sure every ammenity was restocked to the T. Hats off to Deepak for attention to detail. He is my go to Room Attendant at the Taj Lands End. Ask for him and take care of him. good guy! The breakfast is exceptional... Everything is available if its not already laid out in the buffet area. Opens at 7 am. Great way to start your day... The seating area that overlooks the Bandstand at the higher level is nice if you don't mind the walk back and forth to the buffet. FYI - if you want Kulche let them know a day in advance. Puri is always available. Masala Chai is amazing. One suggestion would be to make the SAUNA and SPA area larger, like a entire whole level larger. Make that the GO TO feature. Thanks!

Amazing hotel - highly recommend

Nothing like the Taj for excellence in hospitality and service. Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

The room, specifically the bathroom was dirty with mold visible in the shower. The hotel overall is in need of a makeover. The room had peeling wall paper.

The garlic bread at the bar to the right that’s slightly raised and in the lobby has the DELISH garlic bread. Overall such an excellent stay here. Grateful to everyone here. Thank you!

Beautiful quiet location with ocean views. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms are well kept and clean. Good restaurant options and the breakfast was scrumptious. Live music in the restaurant and lobby added a great atmosphere. The green lands end park was a nice place to explore. Enjoyed my stay very much. Thanks.
