good hotel to recommend for stay in Mumbai

酒店有些年份，保养的还不错，服务也达到应有的水准。住这里距离机场车程20-30分钟，距离印度门那边的游览区视交通情况一小时车程。酒店有几个餐厅，其中一个是中餐厅，可惜午餐和晚餐开始时间都比较晚，中餐厅味道不错有中国厨师下厨，价格不便宜但是还可以接受。

Great Hotel, everything is there, nothing missing

Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I chose to return because of its calm, zen-like atmosphere and excellent location, which feels like an oasis after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city. The property is generally very clean, and the lobby creates a welcoming first impression. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a major let-down and well below the standards I have come to expect from this hotel. While the staff were quick to acknowledge the issue and offered complimentary lounge access for one day during our five-night stay, the gesture felt somewhat inadequate as it did not extend to any other facilities. The staff were otherwise helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was good, although there was room for improvement. Overall, while the hotel retains its peaceful charm and strong location, parts of the property are beginning to feel dated, and the disappointing arrival experience detracted from what could have been a much stronger stay.

The building looks old and needs to be updated.

This stay felt like a three‑star experience at best when compared to hotels in North America or Southeast Asia. The floors looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks, and the room had an unpleasant smell. There was only one coffee cup in the coffee bar area, no spoons, and we were expected to use a chopstick as a stir stick. Breakfast involved a long wait, and while there were a fair number of options, the quality was mediocre. The entire property looked tired and neglected, and both staff and management seemed disengaged. The situation was summed up by their welcome letter, which had been printed upside down on official letterhead. If this is the standard for a Taj property, then they have lost us as customers permanently.

It's excellent

Excellent property with a perfect location and impeccable service. Only concern is that at breakfast the Vista restaurant area is too small to cater to all the guests and consequently there are long waits. However, we look forward to be back next year.

A fantastic place to stay, staff were attentive and very helpful. Hotel was located in the perfect position to access most of central and southern Mumbai.

I love staying at the Taj, it feels like home but the standard rooms have become old and have a smell to them, they need to be renovated as the Club Room rooms are fantastic as is the service at the hotel and the food in the restaurants and at breakfast.

Toilets in club lounge were not clean and cleanliness across hotel need to improve. Most staff were friendly but attention to detail was lacking.

It is an old property. Some rooms may be better than the others, but ours definitely needs, some work and the toddler area or the play area is dirty.

Excellent

As always, our visit to Taj Lands End was a very special part of our trip to India. The facilities are second to none. The hotel and rooms are meticulously clean and well maintained. All staff are all exceptionally kind, friendly and supportive. Our special thank you to Sakshi who went above and beyond to make this stay very special indeed.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Great ambience and easily accessible to go and visit Mumbai!

Rooms were terrible and very badly maintained. TV did not work properly, shower head was rusted and sent water in all directions, room not cleaned properly, toilet not cleaned properly and it was smelling of piss, lights and ac remote was 3 decades old. Food was ok but not up to a 5 star mark. Staff were ok and not service oriented. I would not stay at this property and would look elsewhere.

Lovely hotel. The pool was outside but woman weren’t allowed in without wearing a hair cap which was strange
