MUNI KYOTO

混雑する嵐山において、ロケーション抜群の、卓越したデザイン建築のくつろぎのホテルでした。朝食もおいしかったです。 ただ残念だったのは、家族で泊まれるメゾネットタイプのお部屋はなぜか窓が開けられず、空調もセントラルヒーティング。少々暑くても自分で室温を調節できないという閉塞感がありました。川沿いのダブルやツインなら、快適だったかと思います。 駐車場で苦労する京都ですが、数台駐車も可能です。さらに通路やフロアに段差がなく、車イスの高齢者も問題なくリラックスして過ごせました。スタッフのみなさんも温かく接してくださいました。

渡月橋と桂川がすぐそばで、川のせせらぎを聴きながらとてもリラックスできました。 アメニティも設備も　最新かつ心遣いに溢れて使い勝手が良く、またゆっくり滞在したいと思いました。

こちらのホテルは、スタッフの方がどの方もとても親切で話しやすいです。お部屋のアメニティも充実していますし、ベッドやソファも心地よい物が入っています。欲を言えば女性用にメイク落としのクレンジングがあると良いと思いました。

One of the best hotels in Arashiyama. Spacious, modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Special thanks to Ms Rinka. I lost my wallet while walking between a restaurant and the hotel, and Ms Rinka volunteered to take me to the police station and help me file the police report. Turns out someone had found the wallet and brought it to the police station, so I was able to retrieve my wallet and nothing was lost. Hats off also to the officers at the police station and the person who found the wallet.

I had an exceptional stay at MUNI Kyoto. The location is unbeatable — right by the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge with stunning views of the river and mountains. Waking up to that scenery from my room was truly unforgettable. The hotel’s design and ambience are outstanding: calm, refined, and beautifully curated. My room felt both luxurious and serene, blending modern comfort with Kyoto’s understated elegance. The service was another major highlight. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay seamless. They went above and beyond to help secure dinner reservations, which I deeply appreciated. One small example of their thoughtful service: after I asked for additional water on one of the days, the staff proactively ensured I had extra water prepared for the rest of my stay without needing to ask again. Overall, MUNI Kyoto delivered a beautiful, tranquil, and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arashiyama and would absolutely return.

Incredible design, wonderful staff

It is the perfect staying for those who value minimalism and peace. Just around the corner of the bursting Arashiyama you will find Muni, am excepcional place to continue enjoying the energy of the soundings but at your own place. I would choose to stay over again. The rooms are cared about to the detail.
