The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. When I arrived my room had twin beds, but they were able to change them to a double for an additional €10, which I appreciated. However, there were building works taking place during my stay that I was not informed about before booking. The noise started between 6–7 AM each morning and the walls were vibrating, which meant I was woken up early every day and didn’t have a very restful sleep. The construction also continued throughout the day. I understand it may be the off-season, but I would have appreciated being informed beforehand as I would have chosen a different hotel. Additionally, the rooftop pool was closed on one of the days, which happened to be the sunniest day of my stay, which also wasn’t advertised until I went up to the rooftop. The gym was quite dark as it is located in the basement which made it feel a bit off-putting. Overall the hotel was okay and the staff were friendly, but the lack of notice about the construction and facilities did affect the experience.

They were undersized (providing minimal coverage) and had a noticeable unpleasant odor. Appliances: The in-room refrigerator was broken. Despite reporting this to staff, who promised to contact maintenance, the issue was never addressed. After 48 hours without a follow-up, we stopped requesting assistance. Facilities & Service Staff: The team was generally friendly, though the lack of follow-through on maintenance requests suggests a breakdown in internal communication. Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent and stood out as a highlight of the stay. Pool & Parking: While the pool was open, it was unheated. A very nice reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast was really good and the overall layout works very well. Although the view looked out over other buildings we had very good sea views in the gaps. We will certainly stay there again.

Clean rooms well appointed. Nice hotel situated close to amenities. Ample free parking close by. Good choice of fresh breakfast buffet. There was building work on hotel opposite which woke us at 7 each morning but that was no fault of the Mayflower. Pool closed as we went in winter, but it looks nice. Great staff, all very helpful and pleasant!

Hotel nuevo y limpio. Las camas cómodas y muy bien en general. El desayuno bueno aunque poco variado. Lo peoyes que están de obras y hacen ruido desde temprano. La piscina con excelentes vistas.

All good great value

Excellent staff who were very helpful. Lovely room and facilities. The hotel is really good value and with good location. Good transport link to get anywhere. Let down on the day before leaving only by the cleaning of the room which was not done despite calling reception to say that we'd accidently broken a glass and the floor needed cleaning for safety reasons. We cleaned as best as we could but very wary of stepping on tiny glass shards.

Bra frukost. Jade möjlighet att få särskillda önskemål veganska "mejeri" varianter redan andra dagen. Inte pool säsong. Väldigt liten pool. Hotellet var bra men hela st:Pauls bay var ett vidrigt charterområde mycket långt bort och isolerat omringat av "wasteland".

The hotel itself was fine, good value and everything as advertised BUT i would not stay there again . The reason being is that there’s so much building work going on around the hotel with constant drilling and 2 super large cranes hovering over the top of the hotel . We did complain to reception but they just shrugged their shoulders and said it’s not in our hotel and we cando nothing. You booked through Expedia, they should have told you at the time of booking, which they did not.

This was my 5th stay and its still as great as it was on my 1st visit.

Great hotel with fantastic Staff, amazing price, Gym, pool, restaurant, pub, SPA treatments. Already booked my next trip and stay here agin.
