だけど風呂のお湯を貯めようとしたら砂混じりの赤い水が出てきた。 しばらく出し続けるとだいぶんマシにはなったけど。。。場所が場所だけに仕方ないのかもしれないが、その分星一つマイナス。総合的には良いホテルです。

Wunderschönes Hotel mit Stil, Eleganz und Geschichte mitten in der Stadt. Das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

It's a beautiful hotel with excellent, helpful staff. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bar area is cosy and the gardens are well cared for and very pretty.

Suite rooms were amazing…so much space. Centrally located. Many options for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again! 🤗

The hotel is old but well-maintained, though the price-performance ratio just does not fit. Our room was quite small and felt a bit musty. Breakfast was only average with no warm options available. Due to the overall standard and the small room, we would not book here again.

The hotel feels dated and, in my opinion, somewhat overrated. Unfortunately, I don’t feel comfortable recommending it. We asked to have dinner at 8:30 pm, considering that the restaurant closes at 9:30 pm, but we’re rushed because the kitchen closeed before 9.30 p.m.. The same happened at the bar: although it was open until 10:00 pm, about 15 minutes earlier we’re made to feel that we’re no longer welcome. The pasta I ordered was overcooked and not up to standard. We also experienced organizational issues: the parking space assigned to us was occupied by another car, and upon arrival, our room was not yet ready. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is plentiful, but this wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. The property didn’t seem particularly suitable for families, and both the atmosphere and the type of clientele didn’t match our expectation. The service and management clearly need improvement. Overall, the experience didn’t meet our expectations.

A great place to stay in Swakopmund. The rooms are quite large and it is in a great location. For a family I think it is perfect.

A great place to stay if you’re in Swakopmund for a few days. It’s got a lot of character and is very comfortable. It’s also a short walk to many things in town. Highly recommended.

Very stately grand hotel with athnosphere. Everything is veeeery German which is a delight in a far away country :)

Excellent hotel and breakfast, we loved the room we had (splurged and did a suite both nights), but it was so worth it. Service was great and the location was really nice, close to many shops and coffee spots.
