Sewage smell in the room throughout our stay. Cleaning didn't occur between 11am-5pm and inconveniently when we were inside the room. Dodgy lift's, weren't working properly so had to use the stairs twice.

We can only express our profound disappointment and dissatisfaction. The room has a low ceiling, and when the restaurant provides entertainment with a DJ, it significantly disrupts guests, making it impossible for them to sleep. Upon checkout, the reception staff asked if I wished to review the bill. I confirmed I did. However, they still processed the charge on my card, even though there was a problem with the "Porter" restaurant bill. There was an overcharge of €100 on the bill. The waiter was completely self-absorbed and paid no attention to his clients. The steak, which I requested blue rare, was served medium. This was deplorable. I brought up the unresolved issue again when collecting my luggage. I was assured that the matter would be resolved, but in fact, nothing has happened. No follow-up whatsoever. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this category."

Staff. We were greeted warmly by Adam, and it was fabulous from that moment on.

Wonderful hotel and incredible team. Special thank you to Nikola from Scotland, Javier & Anastasia, due to the weather we had to extend our stay by 2 days, their ability to be so flexible and welcoming during this somewhat stressful time was fantastic. Thank you again - really looking forward to returning this summer.

Breakfast was a joke for price and options and eggs was cold

Great restaurants, we even came back to Amsterdam for our Christmas dinner at The Duchess (in a private function room), which worked perfectly. Would recommend. However, wasn’t thrilled with the room I was given: the hotel was overbooked and I ended up in a separate room tucked away behind a staircase, which felt a bit spooky and oddly “Trump-style”. Aside from that, it’s a nice place

Staff wonderful. Hotel beautiful. Position great. BUT the smell from the drains in room 1312 was AWFUL, put a real downer on our stay, staff did try to rectify but could not.

Enjoyed the spa ambiance and facilities. Breakfast was marvelous.

There was no mention of taking a deposit when I booked this hotel. A high amount extra taken from my account for a room deposit which was extremely large amount. Still waiting for the refund and email I was meant to get when checked out

All staff was very good and smile face. Espaecially nicole, natali, jimmy and other all friends😊🙏❤️

The room was perfect, amazing views and amenities. The spa was a really lovely treat and the staff are wonderful and accomodating. The location is great, I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting some time away in Amsterdam.
