The room is spacious and the location is good. The staff is friendly.

友人と２人で３泊、リーバービュースイートに宿泊しました。空港からは、タクシーで１０分ほどです。少々古い田舎のホテル、といった雰囲気ですが、なんといっても、広いです！廊下も幅広く、泊まった部屋も、２ベッドルームで、それぞれに、キングサイズベッド。それぞれに、空調が付いていて、クローゼットも２つ。ゆったり過ごせます。ホテルの立地も、町のど真ん中です。すべての設備が古く痛んでいます。また、スタッフが、どの人も親切で丁寧です。空調の使い方が分からなくて部屋に来てもらったり、レストランを紹介してもらったり、訪問先の予約をしてもらったりしましたが、どのスタッフもにこやかに世話を焼いてくれました。テラスにも４人掛けのテーブル・椅子があり、夏ならここでビールを飲んでも良さそうです。川の手前に道路がありますが、車は少なかったです。

スタッフがとてもfriendlyで、部屋もとても清潔感があり、すてきなホテルでした。 ただ、お風呂が故障しており、修理をしてもらいました。ですが、対応も迅速でよかったです。

Was told had room on riverside. But was put on main road with trucks going all night. Asked for shower in unit and we got a spa bath was hard to climb into bath as hips problems. One staff member sent not a nice text when I had gone out of town for day demanding I pay by 2pm for the last night.

Too many issues to list would not recommend

Not a good start to my stay became my room hadn't been serviced and jad stale smell. I went down to reception and the receptionist (Meadow i think was her name) volunteered to come up and clean it herself. I asked for another room and she was so helpful and kind to put me in a upgraded room. The rest of my stay here was enjoyable. Thank you Meadow, much appreciated.

First let me say the staff were very friendly and pleasant. My room was large and sparse. It was in need of some refurbishment. Carpet was worn and tired. There were plaster marks on the wall where damage had been fixed but not painted. There was a lot of road noise and when the traffic started at 5:40am I was unable to sleep. The bedroom was clean and tidy and the bathroom had been renovated and was large, nice and fresh. The hotel is well located in central Gisborne. The hotel has an odd layout that makes the experience of getting around unusual. The parking situation is effectively offsite and all a bit odd. All in all just a bit lacking in upkeep and cohesion.

the Emerald is convenient re-location and access to shops cafes very good The staff are helpful we appreciated the house keeping staff But don’t expect a lot as it has the basics

The room was very poor, and the bed was past it's life.. bathroom and shower were very poorly laid out not suitable for seniors.

The room was spotless and very big. Despite being the noisy room overlooking the street we had no issues with it. My only concern, lovely and friendly as they were was room service was too early and they walked in too soon to get to the door. A simple sign on the door to say we didnt need it would have helped. We would happily stay again.

The room standards have dropped but is not reflected in the prices big prises younger two staff members really friendly

Could use a better cleaning and update the hotel

Room was not what we booked. Had 2 queen beds, Not a Queen and 2 singles as we required. Room was clearly not cleaned. Fat on surfaces, and rangehood. Stains on the fridge, dirt on the floor and table. Floor sticky. The couches had hair and crumbs very obliviously on them. Room smelt like damp carpets. Shampoo seal had been opened by previous guest Final straw was that one of the beds had been previously slept in! We complained and suggested we cancel the booking and they refund. They eventually agreed. This has not yet been processed as the Hotel cant be contacted.....

This is my second time staying in the Emerald. Large space as always！Friendly staff as always! One thing to mention, I have left my SM Pad in the room! The friendly staff called me and told me how to arrange a return bag to collect the Pad! The hotel kept my pad safe for a few days until I completed my trip to arrange for the return bag to collect it! Much appreciated!

Loved our apartment, having air con in both bedrooms was a life saver. Stay were very helpful and friendly. The pool was excellent.

Parking was easy
