オールド タウン チェンバーズ, オートグラフ コレクション

We loved our stay at The Old Town Chambers in Edinburgh. Centrally located on the Royal Mile, it's directly across from the beautiful St. Giles Cathedral. Superb for sightseeing and walking! Housekeeping serviced the room every day. It was clean and bright (with three huge windows)! The furnishings, and kitchenette amenities made it very comfortable, and relaxing, and a nice place to “come home” to, after a long day of walking and exploring. It wasn’t the usual soulless hotel room, which we really appreciated! The one thing I would caution against, is using the washer/dryer combo, especially if you’re short on time! It took 3-4 hours to do a small load of laundry! Someone from the front desk came up to help us, as we thought we might be doing something wrong. After looking at it, and fiddling with the buttons, the kind gentleman told us that's how it is, unfortunately! It just takes a long time! The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. They even offered us umbrellas one rainy morning, as we were heading out for the day! Oh, and the hotel does have an elevator! Such a wonderful sight, when your feet are burning from walking up and down what seems like10,000 steps! 😊 We loved Edinburgh, and The Old Town Chambers, and would highly recommend this hotel. We’d very happily stay here again!

サービスもシステム、インテリア全てカジュアルモダルな印象。大変便利な場所にあり夜も朝も一人で食事する場所に困ることはないし、安心。フロントオフィスのスタッフは皆感じよく親切だった。キッチンにはネスプレッソと湯沸かしポット、トースター、電子レンジもあるので小腹が空いたら軽食も作れる。 ただ１つ、子供の進学手続きでの今回の滞在だったが、このホテルは大通りの入り口から細道を抜け石階段を下がる。6個の大型トラックを2人で運ぶにはかなり手間と労力がかかった。荷物が多い方は筋肉痛にご用心。
