Loved the setup of the rooms. Rare to have two separate beds for a family. Staff are polite. Central location to everywhere.

Safe location right in the heart of Edinburgh. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Nice to have laundry facilities in room. Would absolutely stay here again! Only change to make is with the tv, teenager unable to use internet services to watch anything other than local channels. Unable to add apps to the tv to watch you tube or our own Netflix channel. Minor detail but important with a teenager.

Old Town Chambers, Autograph Collection in Edinburgh is now my GO TO for lodgings whenever I visit the city. Central location, GREAT AMENITIES AND STAFF! Centrally located within walking distance of a lot of local attractions.

This was a lovely hotel overall. The family room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the bedroom and cubby-hole space perfect. The wi-fi didn't work so well, and so the TV and the Bose music speaker didn't connect - small things, but if they're being provided, they should work. The room was quite a way from reception, so they need to look at how the wi-fi and connectivity can be better. The front desk staff were excellent - very helpful and keen to look after guests in every way. Requested a firm pillow as those provided are soft, but numerous. They didn't have any, but tried to put something together using sofa cushions. The staff were excellent. The hotel is literally in the middle of the Royal Mile, so if you're wanting to be in that area of Edinburgh it's perfectly located.

Had a lovely stay at the Old Town Chambers - the staff were really lovely and welcoming. The room was great, very comfortable and had a wonderful view over the city. The location is brilliant for exploring Edinburgh - I couldn't recommend more.

Excellent accommodations on the Royal Mile. Top notch staff provided fantastic service. Rooms are more small apartments than hotel room. Terrific spot.

Amazing staff and perfect room

Beautiful Hotel, perfect location as so many of the must see sights are a short walking distance. Staff was very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Check in was seamless, our suite was immaculate, fully equipped and with a perfect city view. Having visited before, the standard has not altered at all. Staff polite, accommodating and friendly. Old Chambers is an ideal, luxurious venue to stay - ideally situated to visit all Edinburgh has to offer; most is walkable except for The Royal Yacht Britannia which is easily accessible by the super efficient trams that operate around the city. Highly recommended.

The room was amazing with plenty of space, the washing machine is a bonus. My teenage daughter had her own little room in the alcove which she loved. The hotel is very central to walk to all the tourist attractions. All the staff is very nice and ready to help you.

A hotel full of character with an incredible design covering three interconnected buildings. Great location on the Royal Mile with direct access also down to the Waverly Station area and the city center. We loved OTC and would definitely stay again.

I've traveled all around the world and stayed in all kinds of hotels. This one was one of the worst stays I've ever had. The room was nice and location was convenient however everything in the room was broken. We had to call 3 times to fix the washing machine, the dishwasher was also not working along with the safe needing new batteries. (That was the only easy fix). The heat wasn't working when we got there and it took over 7 hours and multiple people to get it going. It's winter and it was cold!!! Never once did i get an apology for all of the inconveniences. I asked to speak to a manager and they wouldn't even have one call me. The walls are paper thin here so if you like staying up until 3 am when the shouting from the street stops, then you will enjoy this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy.

We loved our stay at The Old Town Chambers in Edinburgh. Centrally located on the Royal Mile, it's directly across from the beautiful St. Giles Cathedral. Superb for sightseeing and walking! Housekeeping serviced the room every day. It was clean and bright (with three huge windows)! The furnishings, and kitchenette amenities made it very comfortable, and relaxing, and a nice place to “come home” to, after a long day of walking and exploring. It wasn’t the usual soulless hotel room, which we really appreciated! The one thing I would caution against, is using the washer/dryer combo, especially if you’re short on time! It took 3-4 hours to do a small load of laundry! Someone from the front desk came up to help us, as we thought we might be doing something wrong. After looking at it, and fiddling with the buttons, the kind gentleman told us that's how it is, unfortunately! It just takes a long time! The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. They even offered us umbrellas one rainy morning, as we were heading out for the day! Oh, and the hotel does have an elevator! Such a wonderful sight, when your feet are burning from walking up and down what seems like10,000 steps! 😊 We loved Edinburgh, and The Old Town Chambers, and would highly recommend this hotel. We’d very happily stay here again!
