Highly recommend, it is clean and cozy, decoration shows good taste, and warm services make you feel just like home. The kitchen is tiny but fully functional, we made dinner and enjoyed our stay very much.

From the central location to the amenities in the room to the outstanding customer service, you cannot find better accommodation than Cheval Old Town Chambers when staying at Edinburgh.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The facilities in the room are well thought and every thing are provided with the highest quality. The location of the hotel is perfectly locate in the heart area of the old towns. My wife and myself enjoyed a wonderful stay in Edinburgh.

酒店总体都很棒！地理位置优越，无论是去景点，还是吃饭购物用走的就可以！酒店服务也很好，本来三个人定的两卧的公寓，结果给免费升级到了三卧，房间又大又漂亮，又有厨房，生活用品一应俱全，装修舒适又时尚，儿子一进门就大叫下次来还要住这里！服务也很到位，叫的外卖前台会送到房间。因为当天火车是下午3:30，酒店还贴心的允许我们3:00 check out, 为此非常感激，来爱丁堡住马老城绝对绝对不会让你失望，以后一定会再来住！

Below expectations for this price point: - Creaky floorboards throughout, worse than an old house - Generally poor soundproofing from walls to windows - Washing machine handle was broken/missing. Had to pry open the door with butterknife otherwise our clothes would be trapped in the machine - No room service after midnight, not even simple sandwiches/snacks - No AC

To make this a super facility it needs Aircon in the rooms. Otherwise it ticks nearly every box.

The best thing about the hotel is the location and the helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are so good also highly recommended

Overall, this was a great stay. Next time however, I would not stay on the Royal Mile. We learned that this is an extremely busy and very loud street in the heart of the tourist District. Not only is it right across the street from a very large church with loud bells that continue to ring into the night… The bars open up with many people still strolling down the streets at one or two in the morning. It is extremely loud, but it is very central to everything. We had issues with the air. It was only halfway working in our room. Also, the door that slides on a barn door apparatus did not work, but they fixed it quickly. This is an upscale Marriott property with all the other amenities. The restaurant was good. Front Desk staff was helpful. This was right across the street from many Tour options.

Well appointed rooms, complete with washer/dryer!

Perfectly located in old town just a short walk from all the major attractions. In the heart of all the action. Spent four days touring and was able to do everything on foot.

I would have rated our stay a 5 except for one issue that was not resolved to our satisfaction. The washer did not drain properly and the staff took our clothing to rewash and dry them while the machine was repaired. No one ever came to repair the machine and when my clothes were returned, they were stuffed in a laundry bag and did not appear clean. This hotel has many levels and stairs are unavoidable. We had stayed before and knew this so not an issue. Staff was very willing to assist with luggage.

Fantastic location on the Royal Mile. Hotel was clean and spacious. We had a washing machine in our room which we LOVED and was very useful after long hikes. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely lovely hotel in an incredible location.

Very well located, spacious and well kept. Unfortunately they put us in a room right at the entrance of their second building in our first night. Our bed was right in front of the main door, so anyone could see us and we could hear every one that was coming in + the cleaning team at 6am next morning. Also the air conditioning was not working. Next day they moved us to a far better room that I believe should better reflect their standards. Make sure you don’t get that 1st family room!

Great location, spacious room.

The location was ideal and the apartment setup was nice. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was clean. The bathroom door is very transparent which was strange and awkward depending on who you are with. The dryer in the apartment did not work at all after many cycles, so we were stuck with wet clothes. We felt mislead about breakfast being included and ended up with a lot of restaurant charges we didn't expect.
