リッチモンド パーク ホテル

『リンリスゴー駅からF45 かF49バスで行くのでホテル最寄りのバス停を教えてね』とメールしたが、「乗務員にゆうたら近くで下ろしてくれます」との逃げ口上。再度『バス停名を教えてね』との丁寧督促も無視！どうもバスで来る客など眼中にない様子なのでタクシー利用をお奨めします。なおバス乗務員に尋ねても不明でしたのでボーネスのバスステーションで下車して歩こうとしたがかなりの坂道でシタクシーにてやっと到着。さて部屋へは階段を登り下り必要。なお寝具とタオルは清潔で暖房とシャワーの湯量には満足。

Another good stay

The first room didn’t have hot water, and after 2 days we were moved to another smaller room. There was also a window which was close to falling out. Overall, the hotel whilst satisfactory was very tired. The staff were helpful pleasant and courteous.

Breakfast was poor quality and amount for £11-95 the room was not fresh! The stsmaff were all friendly! No parking as there was a function on but that was no biggy! Been before and had a lovely stay but was disappointed this time

Staff, Good location

Very attentive staff from reception to bar/restaurant. Room was a good size and clean. Prices in the bar/restaurant were very reasonable and good quality food. Would definitely consider a return stay if the need arose.

The carpet was not attached between the bathroom and bedroom so it was trip hazard. The WiFi wasn’t very good. The tv was a smart tv but was unable to connect to the wifi making it fairly useless. However, the room itself was clean, neat and tidy. The curtains were black out which is rare for hotels and a lovely touch. The coffee and tea facilities were excellent. We were also able to check in early which, again, was hugely beneficial.

Het hotel is oud maar dat is ook juist het mooie ervan. De kamer en badkamer waren schoon en werden elke dag schoon gemaakt. Het Restaurant is goed, je moet er wel reserveren anders loop je de kans dat er geen plek meer is om te dineren. Voortreffelijk uitgangspunt om omgeving en natuurlijk Glasgow en Edinburgh te bezoeken zonder uren te hoeven rijden. We hebben er 4 dagen verbleven en hebben geen enkel minpuntje kunnen vinden.

All things stood out as wonderful to me.

Good stay, however was woken up by vans revving their engines and turning their lights on to warm the vans up, wouldn’t have minded but it was at 3-4am in the morning other than that, lovely breakfast, amazing views and convenient

Good value

Parking was plentiful. Staff on reception very pleasant and helpful. Room itself was cleaned but there were issues within the roo , eg mould in bathroom around bath. There is a big issue with floorboards severely creaking in the bathrooms, not just in our room but those above and to the side, which disturbed sleep during night when anyone used them. We couldnot enjoy natural daylight as the alternative was to have the blind open and any person walking by could look directly into room. A voile/net would be beneficial for daytime use. The single bed mattresses have a roll off effect when sleeping and only alternative was to pish the singles together to then try to sleep more away from outside edge. Only one spoon for a twin room. Having to share cutlery could be avoided if stocked sufficiently.
