スタッフが親切です。部屋の内装が非常におしゃれ。

併設されたレストランの料理はとても美味しかった。特にチーズフォンデュが最高でした。シャワールームがカーテンで仕切られていてトイレの床面に水が漏れた。

Our room, the dining hall and the breakfast were excellent. But the bathroom wasn’t so. It’s small and narrow. So couldn't quite bend my hips and some water from shower leaked outside along a wall and wet on a floor. I couldn't prevent it although I was careful. They should improve more on sealing. I chose this hotel because of a hotels.com’s review They said the bathroom has a deep bathtub(深めの浴槽）, but it wasn’t that quite deep, it was around 10cm only. I hope hotels.com’s review be corrected soon.

このホテルはベンゲンの駅からメインストリートを2ー3分歩いたところにあります。送迎をお願いしたら、電車の到着時間にはちゃんと駅で出迎えてくれ、電気自動車でホテルまで送ってくれたのですが、走り出して1分もたたないうちにホテルに到着したのでなんだか申し訳ない感じでした。 到着は14:00頃だったのですが、部屋は用意ができていて、すぐにチェックインができました。 まず、自家製レモネードで歓迎された後、館内施設の案内、門限について、周辺のおすすめ観光地について、そしてユングフラウヨッホへ行く際のアドバイスを一通り説明してくれました。ユングフラウヨッホに行く場合は、このホテルのレセプションでベンゲンからユングフラウヨッホまでの乗車券とクライネシャデック駅からユングフラウヨッホまでの列車の予約券も購入、発券してもらえます。因みにスイストラベルパスを持っていれば、ベンゲンから先は25%引きで購入できます。訪問したのは8月中旬でしたが、まだまだ観光のハイシーズンで、ユングフラウヨッホ行きの列車の予約はしておいた方が良いと勧められましたが、予約しておいて正解でした。座席予約ではないので、席は早い者勝ちですが、列車予約をしていれば座れないことはありません。 チェックインした日は、ホテルおすすめのメンリッヒェンの展望台へロープウェイで行ってきました。ロープウェイの駅はホテルのすぐ近くにあります。約8分一気に山を登ると、スイスアルプスや谷の村を望む絶景を味わうことができます。 展望台から帰って、ホテルのレストランで夕食をいただきました。こちらもチェックインの際のおすすめされたレストランで、日替わりでテーマの違うコース料理が味わえ、宿泊客には割引があります。この日は、スイス料理のビュッフェでした。レストランは改装されたようで、モダンであり、清潔な感じがするインテリアデザインになっていました。まずサラダバー、スープ、前菜がサーブされた後、メイン料理はブッフェスタイルでいただきます。ラクレットもありました。メイン料理はシェフらしき人が一品一品説明してくれ、お皿に取り分けてくれました。シェフもテーブル係も笑顔でとても親切でした。朝食も同じレストランでいただきます。朝食のメニューはスイスらしくチーズの種類が豊富です。パンの種類もそこそこあり、どれも美味しかったです。その他たまごやソーセージ、焼きトマトなど欧州のスタンダードな朝食ブッフェでしたが、野菜はきゅうりとトマトしか有りませんでした。(これはスイスでは普通のようです) 宿泊した部屋は最上階の旧館のようでした。ベランダがない屋根裏部屋のような感じでした。ただ天井は十分高かったです。広さは、椅子2つとソファーテーブルがあるリビングとシングルベット2台と鏡台程度の机がある寝室、ヲークインクローゼットとバスルームがあり、リビングでは大きなスーツケースを広げる余裕がありました。広さは十分で掃除も行き届いていて、とても綺麗でした。難を言えば、バスルームが狭く、服を脱ぐスペースがありません。また部屋の鍵の開け方が未だにわかりません。欧州では一般的な鍵なのですが、いつもドアを開けるのに苦労します。 ホテルには他にパブやプール、サウナなどがあります。プール、サウナは曜日により遅くまで開いているとのことでしたが、「パーティー好きでしたらどうぞ」とのことでしたので利用しませんでした。きっと若い方は楽しめると思います。 兎に角、レセプションの方が親切で、その第一印象の良さがこのホテルの評価に繋がっています。

This is the 3rd opportunity staying in Wengen in summer high season. This hotel is the vest one within three hotels stayed. All of the hospitality, facilities(swimming pool, sauna), free minibar, breakfast, eyc. are very fine, free wifi as well. Price is very reasonable, easy to see if you compare with other hotels in the same grade. The location is also good, being close to Maenlichen cable car station, Wengen WAB station as well. The only problem was that noise from the next room. I reccomend to request the street side rooms in terms of better mountain (Yungflau) view.

I could honestly just keep returning here time and time again. Great staff, clean rooms, short walk to the train, great amenities and a beautiful view of the valley. 100% will be back!

Fantastic stay, the hotel and staff are top notch and the spa really was the icing on the cake. 10/10

Perfect location and clean/roomy hotel with free 24hr still/gas water, coffee, and tiny croissants(around noon). There were steam/normal sauna and big pool opening from 10am-8pm. Only cons were that no fridge and air cooler but I just open window and kept grocery in the balcony(be careful of greedy crows) in early May. The restaurant opens until late and it was helpful. Outside was loud at night when somebody were drinking at bar outside.

Great place, great location. We had a wonderful stay with our balcony overlooking the mountains.

Comfortable clean room overlooking the valley with a nice balcony. Unfortunately this was not usable one day because it was too cold and the other because of dense smoke from a fire pit in the spa area below. Breakfast was good but eggs to order cost extr- not the local standard.

The breakfast was excellent.

This hotel was perfect!!! Easy to access from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful with check-in, the restaurant had many options and my rosti and sautéed vegetables were delicious. The spa was relaxing and easy to use with the help of the staff member. Our room was clean and comfortable. View was incredible. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. I would stay here again any day.

The Hotel it’s very nice and if you like books it’s great for you. The Spa and sauna was nice. I’m sure it’s great during skiing season! I was here after ski season and some restaurants and stores were closed. It’s a unique village! I will recommend it to anyone.

Great stay overall—perfectly located in Wengen, just a 3-minute walk from the train station, which made everything incredibly convenient. The stay itself was smooth and comfortable throughout. Would happily stay again.

Great location with Spa and really great staff. Local recommendations were spot on and one of our favorite places we stayed in 30 days of Europe.

Nestled at the feet, or rather, the knees, of the Jungfrau mountain region, the Braunbär is everything you hope for out of this experience. It is super convenient to the train station, which visitors will use often, and it is across the street from the gondola station which takes you up to Männlichen, Gringlewald, and the Jungfrau Express. The village of Wengen (car-less) is quaint, yet has everything you’ll need. Cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bars, sporting goods stores, etc. We had a generous balcony to our room which was deep and ran the length of the room. The room size was very suitable and large-ish for this sort of property. Everything worked well, and the room, bed, and couch were comfortable.
