This is a wonderful, charming hotel in Wengen. It is an easy train ride from Lauterbrunnen. The gondola to Männlichen is right across the street.There is a Coop grocery nearby and a great takeaway restaurant steps away. The room was very spacious with a 1 queen bed and a set of bunks with black out curtains. The view of the Alps from the balcony was stunning. There was a lovely spa included with the stay that had a swiming pool, steam room, sauna and outdoor fire pit. The only negative thing I can say is that the spa closed at 8pm, so we missed it on our first night. We loved staying at this hotel.

The property and rooms are clean and modern with tasteful, bookstore characteristics and friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately their in house restaurant "Goldlockchen"is not so great..it was quite horrble actually. It literally made my dining partner physically ill after we had our meal there. Also, our server seemed like he'd rather be anywhere else but at work, maybe he was having a bad day(?) We spent 2 glorious weeks in Switzerland and this was the only bad experience we had. So, aside from this really awful restaurant, our stay at the actual Braunbar Hotel was very nice!
