ホテル オールド タウン

簡易的なホテルです。ホテルの入り口が、お店の入り口と一緒なので知らないと入りづらいです。

スタッフの雰囲気からしてかなりカジュアルなホテルです。 1階はステーキハウスで、ホテルのメイン入り口は建物の裏口になります。 開店前のステーキハウスでチェックイン手続きをするので、不思議な感覚でした。 少し不安でしたが、客室内はある程度清潔です。 都市部で少し予算抑えめにしたのでこんなものかとは思いましたが、賑やかなエリアにあるので夜はかなりうるさいです。 窓を閉めていても、飲んで盛り上がっている人たちの声が聞こえます。 清掃もきちんとしていて最初に不安がったほどは悪くないな、と思えましたが、次回は予算があれば他のホテルを選ぶと思います。

ホテルの位置は観光に便利でした。部屋は清潔です。三泊しましたが、朝食は毎日同じでした。宿泊料込なので文句は言えませんが。パンは同じでしたが、大変おいしかったです。部屋の清掃は三泊中一度もありませんでしたが、不便は感じませんでした。

乾燥が気になりましたが、立地もスタッフも治安もとてもよかったです。

The room was sufficient for a one-night stay. The air conditioning eventually cooled the room though it took a long time. There was noise outside the closed window until the noise ordinance curfew kicked in. The room was fairly clean though the decorative pillows were dingy and behind the furniture was dusty. The bath towels were not soft and there were some flies in the room (my window was open when I entered the room - I'm sure to cool it which was appreciated, but it did take some time - a few hours - to cool the room with the air conditioner). I was on the 3rd floor and if you walk down the staircase, it is very dark. An automatic light would be nice when descending the stairs. The location was convenient to shops, Old Town, and the train station.

Convenient and close to train station. Shower in our room was ridiculous. It was like a tunnel to get into and the. Stand up in a very tight area.

Air conditioning! The hotel has air conditioning which was greatly appreciated during a heat wave in Europe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Centrally located in the "old town" and not too far from central train station. Easy access to transit system as well; although, we did not need to use any trams or trains as everything was within a mile of the hotel if you do not mind walking, which allows you to better appreciate the local life.

Super close to the main train station and right in Old Town. Access was a slight issue with the cobblestones. The restaurant was excellant - the best steak we have ever eaten!

Compact but functional. Air con was a bit noisy at night but it was 30 degrees out side so necessary for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was ok and the location of the hotel was pretty good. Very near tram stops and bars and restaurants. 2 stops on the tram number 4 from Zürich HB which is handy if you have heavy bags and it’s stupidly hot.

The hotel is a bunch of rooms on top of a restaurant. No lobby. You enter the hotel from an ally in the back; between trash bins, in the dark. Though there is an elevator from the restaurant to the rooms floors you are NOT allowed to enter from the restaurant. One time , when our key to the back door did not work and we tried to go in from the restaurant, the manager showed displeasure. When we explained, he said "let me see" and took our key, went to the back door, and tried it. So, this meant, I could not wake up a bit early and go to the "lobby" and work on my photos or something else; somy wife could sleep. The manager is not at all friendly. When we checked in at 10am, we did expect not to get a room. He told us to leave the bags right at the entrance to the restaurant, literally 1 foot from the road. I objected that it was not safe for my laptop and camera in the backpack. He said "in that case, take it with you". When we were not happy, he called some help who took it inside. He said to come at 2pm. We were walking around the old town around 12pm and wanted to use the WC at 12pm and went in. He looked at us and said "I told you to come at 2pm" and we had to tell him we came for the WC. He is not a good manager and he alone is the reason NOT to rent this hotel. Breakfast was pathetic. Room had no proper supplies. Room was clean, good a/c(outside temps in Zurich were 96F), location is perfect.

Good Location with a lot of restaurants. Relatively close to train station.

We had a tiny, well maintained and clean 4th floor room. The bathroom shower was small but functional. Air conditioning was great and much needed. We had no interaction with staff after check in other than the lady attending the breakfast buffet. Over all pleasant stay and convenient location.

Fint sted og er i nærheten av alt. Alt er dint om hotellet synes jeg, men Wifi var ikke noe bra den var treg og vann i dusjen er litt spesielt da er den veldig lavt og plutselig endrer den seg fra varmt til kaldt og motsatt. Men ellers er fint hotel med basic ting og er veldig glad at det har aircondition.
