シャワーの水量調節が難しい。床が水浸しになる。 バスルームと同じコンセントが部屋にも一箇所必要です。

至る所で四つ星を強調していますが、これまで利用した四つ星ホテルの中では最低でした。朝食サービス以外はとても四つ星とは思えません。まず、無駄に広い、いや、広すぎるバスルーム。バスタブがあったのは嬉しかったが、あの広さは無意味。その分なのかどうか、部屋が狭くてベッドと机の間を通るのもやっとというくらい。お湯とお水の蛇口は別なので温度調節が難しく、固定された別口のシャワーは水のみ。冷房のない設備で夏場21時過ぎまでギンギンの西日が射し込む部屋でずっと暑い思いをしていたため水のシャワーでも苦にはならなかったのですが、水のみのシャワーの需要性が疑問です。一度ブレーカーも落ちました。スマホの充電とテレビと電気ポットの使用だけでです。備え付のドライヤーは、日本の安宿に置いていそうないかにも髪が傷みそうな安っぽいものでした。それからWi-Fiの電波がとても弱く、何度も途切れてしまいました。ロビーではそうでもなかったのですが、部屋ではずっとイライラする通信環境。ホテル側に一度申告しましたが、正常だとの回答のみ。朝食は立派でメニューが豊富で充実していましたが、量が多いため、外でグルメを楽しみたい人はほどほどにすることをおすすめします。四つ星と感じたのは朝食のみでした。

We had a amazing stay at the Imperial Hotel. Very close to the beach, pier and town centre. The only thing I wish could be better is room service.

Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food on offer. I could not fault breakfast staff,housekeeping staff or any other staff members. Everyone was very friendly and polite.

Very nice hotel, perfectly positioned on the sea front, lovely decor and interior. All staff very helpful and approachable Claire on Reception really stood out for her helpfulness and Abbie one of the breakfast waitresses who smiled and helped whenever approached even under pressure. lovely, clean and spacious room with balcony on floor 5 , Breakfast and service was exceptional good range of choice, constantly replenished. Additional items were available to be freshky cooked for a small cost such as kippers,salmon and omelettes to name a few. really appreciated the lovely touch of easter eggs on the tables at breakfast and eggs for kids for Easter Sunday.

Outstanding, thoroughly recommend

Our room had a side view of the promenade/beach which we knew before we stayed, next time we will book earlier to obtain a room with a sea view, the room was spotless-thank you to the lady who looked after it. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had no cpmplaints whatsoever.

Great location

Bar food in the evening was poor. Unable to cope with my garlic allergy leaving me with only fish and chips to choose on the menu. Fish and chips from the chippie would have been far better and much cheaper. The room was lovely, and clean.

Our 5th floor room was not sea facing, pretty noisy and had poor heating. So sleep quality wasn’t great. I was surprised to know that the hotel charges a whooping premium for sea facing rooms not mentioned on hotels. Com. Bottom line - be prepared to pay more for sea facing rooms. Breakfast, gym and pool facilities are great.

Bathroom was big and cold, both the radiator and heated towel rail were off. Breakfast was average, fruit and pastries were not being replenished. Ordered breakfast from the menu, was asked 3 times regarding the item that was chargable, and had to sign for the extra charge before the item arrived. Omelette was not cooked in the centre (raw egg), and arrived 10 minutes before the haddock, usually breakfast items for the same table are served together.

A lovely experience, the room was beautifully clean and well appointed, the staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. A little touch of old school luxury, I would highly recommend.

The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. The dining room staff were all very well trained and extremely helpful. A special Thankyou to waitress’ Reanne and Suzanne who were helpful and caring even though they were very busy.

Everything was great, apart from the swimming pool was not available this morning as a member of staff did not turn up for work.

Staff were really good, friendly, attentive. The room was ok, but very hot with no obvious means to turn the heat down. At 02:30 we had to open the window wide to try and cool the room, leaving us with the hum of machines outside keeping us awake. The radiators were not actually hot except the towel rail, so it seemed the hotel itself was the issue, being perfect at the bottom of the stairs and getting hotter as we walked up. Breakfast was good when available but 3 warming trays failed meaning the chef was having to make things to order and other things were very delayed coming out. Staff did what they could and were apologetic. The hotel feels in need of some renovation, while not being terrible. I think we'll probably look at a guest house next time, or maybe The Empire.

Room spotless,Very nice dinner and excellent breakfast all topped off with amazing staff in reception and the morning and evening teams in the restaurant.Nothing to fault .Very enjoyable one night stay for theatre trip.
