Are you prepared for a new adventure under the snow of Niigata? This two-day tour will take you to an enchanted world covered in white snow, where you can discover sides of Japan you've never seen before. After meeting at Ueno Station (Tokyo), we will take the bullet train to Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, where you can spend some time shopping among famous brands. In the afternoon, we will head to Takayanagi Jonnobi Mura, the traditional Japanese resort where you will spend the night. But not before visiting the interesting stalls at the Echigo Yuzawa Station, with local products and a huge assortment of sake from the region. After checking-in in the hotel, warm up in the hotel's hot springs and refresh yourself with the resort's delicious banquet.On the second day, we set out to visit the Yahiko Shrine, one of the most important shrines in Niigata Prefecture, and known as a place of "en-musubi," where you can pray to find your mate or strengthen the bond with your loved one! Afterwards, we will visit the famous Teradomari Fish Market, one of the most important in the region. The very fresh local fish is not to be missed!In the afternoon, our last stop will be in the Kiyotsu Valley (except for the Feb 16th departure), where you can take in the aesthetics of the Kiyotsu Tunnel with all your senses. But we will not reveal more... Instead, on the Feb 16th departure, the second day will be for you to enjoy the snow and the incredible ice sculptures of the Tōkamachi Snow Festival! If you choose the JR Kanto Wide Pass (3 days) included plan, you can choose which train to take back to Tokyo, or even enjoy an extra day in the region (room and board at your own expense), as the pass is valid for 3 days.
