The PADI Mermaid course has two parts: 1. Through PADI Mermaid eLearning you will study independently using the PADI online system to study the PADI Mermaid eLearning which covers both PADI Basic Mermaid and PADI Mermaid theory. This will take approximately 3-4 hours. 2. In a swimming pool over two days, you will take part in two confined water sessions learning and prepare for mermaiding, rescue/problem management skills and how to safely conduct mermaid dives. You will also learn mermaid skills, such as dolphin kicks, mermaid turns, special mermaid skills like backward somersault turns, underwater handshaking mermaid bubbles, and back glides.
