- Itinerary -

Shifen Waterfall is one of the most beautiful sights in Taiwan. It is located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a famous scenic spot on the Pingxi Line of Taiwan Railway. It is the largest curtain-style waterfall in Taiwan. Its water is so magnificent that it has earned the reputation of Niagara Falls in Taipei. It is one of the must-see attractions for many tourists visiting Taiwan.

・Shifen Sky Lanterns According to the oral accounts of the elders in Shifen, Shifen was often harassed by bandits in the early Qing Dynasty. As it is located in the mountains, the villagers had to move to the mountains to avoid the riots. After the bandits left, the young men who stayed in the village released sky lanterns at night as a signal to inform the villagers who had taken refuge in the mountains that they could go down the mountain and go home. They also used this method to inform the villagers that they were safe. Therefore, the villagers in Shifen also called sky lanterns "prayer lanterns" or "peace lanterns". Over time, releasing sky lanterns became a special folk custom in Shifen every year during the Lantern Festival. A quiet mountain village (Shifenliao) inherited this folk culture for one or two hundred years. It is the most folk cultural activity in northern Taiwan.

・Jiufen Old Street Once upon a time, Jiufen faded due to the decline of gold mining. After the movie "A City of Sadness" caused a sensation at the Venice Film Festival, this small town that had been in decline for decades has once again attracted people's attention and memories. The once prosperous old streets, abandoned mines, unique mining scenery and gold mining history have been repeatedly spread by the media, attracting artists from all over the world who are looking for inspiration to come here, and tourists who yearn for retro also come in large numbers to reminisce about the past and savor the affectionate world in this sad city.

・Infants under 3 years old who do not occupy a seat are free of charge, but seats and meals will not be provided for the child.
・One order provides a set of sky lanterns for 1-4 people. In bad weather, we will take a walk in the old street instead.
・Flights arriving in Taiwan after 13:15 (Taoyuan Airport) or 13:30 (Songshan Airport) are not recommended to join this tour.
・The itinerary time is for reference only, and the dinner content is subject to adjustment according to daily conditions.
・In principle, no refunds will be given if the itinerary is changed or cancelled due to natural disasters, war, riots, etc.
・Cancellations made 3 days before departure will be charged a full cancellation fee. Cancellations made during weekends or national holidays in Taiwan and Japan will be charged a one-day-in-advance cancellation fee.
