07:00-07:30 Pick up at your hotel.

07:30-08:30 Head to Oxalis Office located in Tan Hoa Commune, 70 km from Phong Nha Hamlet.

08:30-09:00 Join a briefing session. Sign the Liability Waiver.

09:00-09:30 The journey begins as you walk through corn field and peanut field, stretching for 2 km to reach Rao Nan river.

09:30-13:00 A river crossing leads to a short but steep and rocky uphill section. Here you will turn to the right to visit Secret Cave, a small but extremely well decorated cave. From the exit, drop downhill into the next valley. Cross the valley on a flat path to reach the entrance of Hung Ton Cave. Pass through the dry passage to the 10 m ladder, which you will climb down with an additional safety rope attached to you. At the bottom of the climb you will don a lifejacket ready for the swim to a beautiful jungle valley where you will enjoy a picnic lunch.

13:00-16:30 After lunch the trek passes over a short but steep hill, to re-cross the flat valley. Up and over a short hill leads you back to the river crossing. Back over the buffalo fields to the office where a cold drink awaits you.

16:30-17:30 Drop off in Phong Nha. End of tour.
