대체적으로 만족스러웠으나, 호텔 전화번호로 전혀 연락이 안되네요. 호텔 측과 연락할 수 있는 방법이 없어서 매우 불편했습니다. 투숙객의 편의를 위해서라도 전화번호와 같은 기본적인 사항은 분명해야 할 것 같습니다.

Nice residence hotel for longer stay. Only 2 blocks away from bus terminal, was a good choice for my 5am bus to Punta Arenas. I just had to leave the room key inside the room. Tricky part is that you have to ask the travel agency people to call hotel staff for check in. But worth it, definitely. Nice room with nicer rate. Err ask for printed wifi key. Hand written password did not work with me.

La Vela is a great place. Very clean and modern However its a real problem when you have to drag your luggage from check-in to the actual property. Also you have to to other buiiding for breakfast. Again if you have luggage your shlepping your luggage up and down concrete steps and sidewalks that

We stayed 3 nights at LA VELA in Room 3B. This picture shown on the website is NOT of La Vela but rather it is the lobby of the Alto Aldino hotel around the corner (this is where you check-in and check-out, and where you have breakfast if you have paid for this option). Our room was like an apartment with a large bed, living room, full kitchen with all utensils & dishes etc. The bathroom was very small (zero counter space for toiletries) but functional and clean. The view from this room was fantastic and looked out to the harbour with water views. The room had good A/C, wifi, in-room safe, and an elevator. Getting from the Alto Andino to the La Vela is very inconvenient with a steep hill upward (it was hell dragging our luggage when we checked-in). To get to breakfast every morning, we discovered the staircase (bright yellow, if you turned right as you exit the La Vela) and we used this daily. There are lots of stairs and this could be problematic if you are older or have mobility issues - in that case please stay at the Alto Andino. The breakfast on the top floor of the Alto Andino was very crowded, with decent hot/cold options and a beautiful seating area with a terrace view (great spot for photos). This town is generally super hilly so be prepared to walk up and down steep hills. Once you get down to the main harbour area, then it is flat. Lots to see and a myriad of restaurants. TIP: Remember to get to the Tourist Center and get your passport stamped.

If you want a comfortable stay in Ushuaia, absolutely avoid this hotel. On the very first day, the hair dryer was broken. When I turned it on, it started to smell like burning smoke, which was honestly frightening. I reported it and was told they would bring a new one the next day. That didn’t help at all, since my hair was already soaking wet. I had no choice but to go to bed without drying it. The next day, when I returned to the hotel around 4:00 PM, I was told that my key card didn’t work and I couldn’t enter my room. I contacted the staff, and they said they would unlock the door remotely and asked me to wait. I waited, but the door never opened. When I contacted them again, they said someone would bring a key and told me to wait again. About 30 minutes later, the key finally arrived. Not being able to enter your own room when you want to is incredibly inconvenient, and to make things worse, there wasn’t even a single apology. When I tried to express my frustration, I was ignored and instead asked what time I would be checking out. Finally, although there is a stove in the room, it doesn’t work properly. Technically, you can light it using a lighter, but the flame goes out the moment you release the ignition button, so you have to keep holding it down the entire time. No one would want to use a stove like that. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The space was very nice and clean! Had a good location.

Close to restaurants and stores. Very nice a clean. Staff members were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was awesome, great variety of choses and fresh fruits. Restaurant have 360° view of the town.

Apartment was spacious, good bed and shower, adequate kitchen facilities. View of the harbor and Beagle Channel was very nice. Breakfast in the associated hotel (about 1 block away) was good, though scrambled eggs were a bit runny and lukewarm. Only major complaint is that the apartment is almost directly above a dance academy, which was pretty loud during 2 of the 3 nights we were there, even with the windows closed.

Modern and well-equipped apartment in the heart of Ushuahia. The bathroom can be tight and there is not a lot of space to move around or arrange toiletries. There is a dance studio next door and sometimes the music is loud well into the evening, with little to no soundproofing in the building. Other than this, it was a very enjoyable stay!

Once you work out how the radiators work, comfortable room/studio, well equiped, good breakfast with a fantastic view in the nearby hotel. It is a bit of a struggle with the suitcases and the check-in in a nearby hotel, but not a deal breaker. Special thanks to Angie at the front desk for all the help.

The apartment is very nice, clean and well furnished and the bed is so comfortable. We stayed at the 5th floor and we had such an amazing view from each part of the apartment. Everything was just perfect! The all staff is excellent, in particular I want to thank Angie from the reception: she has been so kind, she took care of us during all our stay ensuring everything was ok. We will for sure come back again to Departamentos La Vela. Muchas gracias por todo!

Clean room near mami street and shops

The hotel itself was clean and the staff was professional. The service was exceptional and the location was great. The breakfast buffet was very good but it's the view that will be remembered.
