Easy access to town and beach

Could not fault our stay except it wasn't long enough.

Beachcomber on the Spit is a very good place for a getaway near the beach. It is close to shops, restaurants and a supermarket, and a car is not necessary. It is a well cared for complex with very helpful on-site managers. It is also very quiet, especially during the week. I would happily stay here again especially for a winter getaway.

Second year I have booked a mini break there with my daughter and grandsons. We love the proximity to the beach.

We loved our stay at Beachcomber. It’s in a great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars at the wharf and a short walk to the main strip. We stayed in a bottom level 2 bed, 2 bath unit which was really spacious with a large paved courtyard out front. Barbecue, outdoor table and sun lounges in the courtyard we’re great. Full kitchen with cooking facilities. It was only a few steps down from the courtyard to the beach entrance, or out to the beachside walkway. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of space. The Manager was very helpful with great communication, made check in very easy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location is excellent, right near the beach, and close to cafes & restaurants. The property is a little dated and some rooms have the bare minimum in terms of furnishings, but everything was clean and the basics were covered. The TVs / access to Foxtel, etc. could be improved.

Beautiful spot, close to everything

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beach is just a quick 100 walk through the dunes, and shops and cafes are a pleasant 500m walk along the beach or boardwalk. The Spit is our favourite holiday location, and The Beachcomber is one of the better apartments. We will be back.

It is a great position in Mooloolaba, so handy to the beach and everything, no need for the car once you arrive.

It was coming se to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants great communication from reception and staff

The aircon in the master bedroom wasn't working so we had to move the baby cot to the other room. Excellent location, beach is 2 mins walk from the back entrance and the rooms were clean and tidy.
