Beachcomber on the Spit is a very good place for a getaway near the beach. It is close to shops, restaurants and a supermarket, and a car is not necessary. It is a well cared for complex with very helpful on-site managers. It is also very quiet, especially during the week. I would happily stay here again especially for a winter getaway.

Second year I have booked a mini break there with my daughter and grandsons. We love the proximity to the beach.

We loved our stay at Beachcomber. It’s in a great location, easy walk to restaurants and bars at the wharf and a short walk to the main strip. We stayed in a bottom level 2 bed, 2 bath unit which was really spacious with a large paved courtyard out front. Barbecue, outdoor table and sun lounges in the courtyard we’re great. Full kitchen with cooking facilities. It was only a few steps down from the courtyard to the beach entrance, or out to the beachside walkway. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of space. The Manager was very helpful with great communication, made check in very easy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
