The staff were not helpful, the lift was disgusting, the room could do with a paint had plaster repairs unfinished the bathroom was filthy. There was a sign at reception asking people to call the police if they see the person in the photo doesn’t make you feel safe especially when th instruction to get in state you need a code but there is actually no door so you ca walk straight in and into the lift without a key.

There was exposed wiring from three PowerPoints in the walls. The fridge was filthy. The bathtub was peeling away. There was a hole in the wall from the door. Our window was held together purely by packing tap. The bench under the microwave was dirty. The microwave itself sounded like it was going to explode when it was used. There was mysterious gunk on the table. The carpet was dirty. They had painted over the ventilation in the room.

The room is small and simple. Good value for a central location.

The air conditioner was ancient, as was the whole hotel, the carpet must of been over 40 years old, and the bed frames were filthy, we didn't want to use the bath/shower and they even managed to leave the "secure" lobby front door open all night!!!

The bad. The room needs a deep clean, not just a superficial wipe over. There is dirt (filth) on the floor along the edges of the walls. It needs to be scrubbed hard. There were dead insects in the bottom draw of the cupboard one might normally put clothes. The front of the toilet (outside) was stained. There was a cup & a saucer and various coffee, tea & sugar sachets scattered in a cupboard but no spoon. Reception closes at 5:00PM (too late to ask for one). No batteries in the AC remote. Only 1 pillow. There is a lot of noise coming up from Swanston Street, people, trams etc, rooms at the back probably don't have this issue. There is only a curtain on the shower, looks like there might have been a door once but it obviously was broken and a curtain was a quick fix. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The good. The single bed was quite comfortable, not too hard. The shower kept an even temperature. It is centrally located and cheap (compared to most other options). Free toiletries. Conclusion. I don't mind "old" but old can be cleaned.

Air conditioning could be better

The hotel directly discriminated against my personal circumstances. I found dirty socks, used tissues, a nitrous oxide bottle and other rubbish that was under the bed and drawer that is a significant health and safety issue.

This property is not suitable to inhabit. The floor was filthy, the window was filthy, the wall was marked and the vanity mirror was smashed. The bed had springs that could be felt. If it wasn't a Saturday night we would have pursued other accommodation. I hope I can send photos when I continue with this review.

Absolutely filthy room, window held open with a folded towel, stains all over the walls and carpet. Reverse cycle didn't work. The power shorted out when we tried to cook some toast - Deluxe Queen room? No way! Provided with 1 filthy unwashed fork, 1 bowl, 2 plates. Never again!

Was need over a make over and a good clean.

Decideret forfærdeligt. Så ihummant at bo i og så utrygt. Der var på ingen måder gjort rent. Der var beskidt og rod og klamhed flød i skuffer. Vi var der i 15 minutter og så var vi gået igen. Føj en oplevelse

Very conveniently located. Reception only staffed until 5.00pm. Room was very clean. No complaints.

Friendly staff. Easy after hours check in. I loved having a private bathroom and shower. I hope to be back!

Could not find the door on arrival, found it after half an hour. In my four night stay I never saw a staff member. Phoned them the get code to get room key. Phoned them for Internet details, but never found their internet so could not connect. Facilities were poor, one cup and one plate, no knifes, forks, spoons or cereal bowels. Price was extortionate for the F1 Grand Prix weekend. would not recomend.

I cancelled the room from where I booked it They did recognise the cancellation. And won’t fit has not contacted me about the situation. It’s all a rip off. I just won’t use in- line booking again. Stephanie Cresp 0400508599

Nothing was like the pucture shown in Expedia. Room is disgusting, toothpaste left from previous guest on top of shower door. That tells you that no one cleans the room here. No room service, shattered glasses on hallway, no one at office even in their working hours, doors going out does not open so thought I got locked! If you are looking for good lication with dirty filthy room, this will be a perfect place.
