Felt the cleanliness was a bit lower than it has been over the years. I normally love coming every year, but I think I’ve had my last visit even the service wasn’t that great to have it it’s been in the past and having been there four times in the last four years. Youd think you’d get looked after a little bit better.

The staff at the front desk were terrible from the very beginning. Zero concept of customer service, or a basic sense of courtesy. During the stay, there was a routine inspection of the room door for fire safety. No warnings or heads-up. Paid for a panoramic view of a corner room. The two buildings (a few meters away) from the balcony were building/renovating their rooftop pools. Again, no heads-up. Parking was also horribly inconvenient, even though guests have to pay extra.

Staff were great, room was comfortable, was just expecting a level up in terms of quality.

Property was a bit confusing to get around with current construction blocking walkways however, Kiruna at the check in /out desk was super helpful, kind and was quick to answer any of our questions regarding parking and facilities in the property and appreciated the honesty regarding the laundry service. Our room was made up upon request however wasn’t up to the same standard on our last night. Parking was easy with number plate recognition to allow us to exit and enter as we pleased, and there was always a park available. Would happily stay here again.

I’ve been to this hotel many times - always happy and satisfied with my stay. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

This property is gorgeous. The pool on level 6 is just 😍 the housekeeping teams are so good at what they do. Room.was in a perfectly clean state and so comfortable... will be our go to from now.on

Had a fantastic stay for 8 days at the Dorsett. Attached to the Star resort, the hotel was clean & comfortable. The staff were brilliant, cant praise them enough.

Hard to understand the staff. Directions were poor. Room was good.

Olivia and the team at the Dorsett were incredibly helpful in assisting with some lost property. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be customer focussed and delivery excellent service.

The hotel was fine, staff - efficient, polite and helpful. Getting to the hotel is a nightmare. No clear instructions. The address does not help. On arrival car parking is not made clear with either directions, signage or cost. When you eventually find the car park NO signage to find actual hotel. Very poor. On the basis of this I would never stay here again.

We booked a king executive room which was the smallest executive room, we ever stayed at. Checking in was a slow process. The room doesn't have cable TV, which to us is a first. You need to mirror your media device to watch anything decent cause they only have free to air TV. If you need a bucket of ice that will set you back $3.00 . Let's move onto the executive lounge . Smallest selection of beers wines and canapes. It felt like they were drip feeding us prawns and oysters. Never saw more than 4 prawns or oysters at once. Let's move onto breakfast don't mind the eggs bacon hot breakfast . Well it was bone cold never experienced that in my entire life . As for the nice pool setup which is great. Opens early but for food and drinks looking at the hotel site the web etc we found 3 different times from 10 am 11 am and 12 am . It was overall disappointing it felt like a no frills establishment. I do not recommend. Cheers
