Cozy and tidy!

Parking was not secure despite being advertised as such. The room was tiny and very worn, not like the pictures at all. My bed didn’t have a blanket and a very stained mattress protector. My son had a stained blanket and no mattress protector (being a former hotel managers daughter, I always strip my bed as I leave). No convenient power points. It was a place to lay our heads for the night but that’s it.

Terrible and run down . Key doesn’t work to get into car park so you have to walk out and use the roller door massive inconvenience to get to your vehicle . Bed was shocking I might has well slept on the floor as my back is now hurting from the spring in my back . I never complain but the was terrible property bathroom windows was filthy with smears all over them . Furniture in terrible condition

Very poor unit all round. Terrible beds. Poor cleaning. Wasn't the room I was shown when I booked. The whole place needs a major overhaul. No one entered our unit the 7 nights we were there and did anything. No rubbish was collected and I couldn't find anywhere to put it. It wasn't a place you wanted to spend anytime in apart from sleeping. The wifi was good. The parking on site was ok. It was very handy for the Florida tram stop so that was a plus but I paid premium and expected slightly better. I wouldn't go there again.

this was central to the shops. great location. mould all over the blind. noisy with traffic. an intoxicated man was banging on my window, and smashing other clients windows at midnight. he was able to access the motel through the gate with the broken lock. two police crews arrested him, lights and sirens - by the time the staff had cleaned up it was 02.00. this was very scary especially because I was by myself. I had to work the next day and was very upset and tired. The TV had such poor reception I could not even watch the news. the pool looked clean and well maintained. - I saw kids enjoying the pool. the reception is dirty with cracked glass. my bathroom window had cracked glass. overall a poor experience. the shower leaked all over the floor. I went to the chemist and purchased ear plugs and phenergan to sleep. Good carpark security, however the gates were not always shut.

There was active mold all in bathroom,black mould in shower and all roof,wet smelly carpet,flooded carpet walkway to get to room. House keeping didnt even check our kettle that had boiled noodles in from previous guest. House keeping was so loud shouting to each other and banging around early for hours on end. Heavy road noise,got hit up by other guests for drugs. Never will stay there again AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The Gold Coast Inn was very misleading, the pictures seemed to show a fresh room, but instead was run down, dirty, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The bathroom door for the room was stuck, couldn’t even close it. The rooms were very noisy, could hear any conversations and noise from the rooms next door.

Nice pool.

Great affordable hotel at Surfers P, close to the tram station. Room service available on request etc. friendly staff.

Photos are outdated. System is outdated, no reception, rooms dirty, smelly, mould in bathrooms. Felt extremely unsafe.

Only good thing about the place was the location. We got there and left immediately. Room 18 in appalling condition, marks all over the walls, marks, stains and rust on the bed side tables, cuts and stains on the mattress, mould all in the shower and on the blinds as well as other questionable stains, the bathroom cabinet handle was broken off and missing and the bathroom door was a landlord special, cut out to close around the shower tiles . Need I say more? It was a terrible experience and because I had checked in late there was nothing that could be done and had to sleep in my car until I was able to arrange for another place the next day. -10/10 would never stay again

Thin Walls.. hear everything no privacy! Underground Carpark Floods 8 inches ! Ready to Go out and now Shoes are soaked and Stinky and is old and Cruddy and requires password while standing in the Rain. No Cups No teaspoons no ironing board and they don’t tell you..

Arrived to find underground garage with a foot of water over tge floor, and things did not improve. The room had wet carpet in the room plus water seeping onto the floor in the toilet/bathroom. The sliding door blind had slats missing alloeing people walking past to see into your room and at night the outside security lights illuminated the bed area making it very uncomfortable to sleep. When reported to the cleaning staff and reception they did not appear to care and nothing was done to assist.

Overall dirty, grubby with mould in showers, carpets felt like they have never been cleaned, everything just felt dirty, hallway carpets wet, rubbish dumped in carpark because no bins. Overall couldn’t wait to get out.

The room we stayed in had bugs in it. The fridge didn’t work at all so it made us waste our money on our food we got. We also came back to our room late in the night to discover our floor was being flooded with water from underneath the carpet wrecking our bags and our stay.
