누군가 내방에 무단으로 침입하여 내가방을 뒤지고 주변이 소란한 동네에 위치해서 최악의 호텔임

전체적으로 직원들은 친절하고 좋았으며, 방 상태는 양호함. 2~3일 지나면서 청소는 이불정리 외에 바닥 청소는 불량함 아이들 2명이 2층 침대 사용에는 매우 좋았으며, 가격 대비 만족함

공항하고 멀리 않는 등 접근성이 용이합니다. 교통이 편리해 많은 곳을 걸어서 이동해도 좋습니다. 객실 시설이 양호해서 편하게 사용할 수 있습니다. 프론트 서비스 등도 좋습니다.

Bed sheet was dirty. Seems like didn't change or didn't wash well.

Good location & cheap but shabby cheap - not what it was a couple of years ago, a bit run down & a lot of noise through walls & floors

Breakfast catered for many dietary needs and tastes. Food was fresh, barrista brewed coffee was tasty.

Very old and dated room. Not well cleaned at all. Only a fold down single bed in room which was not what was advertised. Staff are very friendly and helpful though.

Not easy accessible. Staff were friendly. Breakfast cost $15. Good location for restaurants and shopping.

The highlight of this hotel was definitely the bed. Super comfy. The staff were also very professional and helpful. Breakfast was limited but tasty and the coffee was great. I was able to take a few muffins and a yoghurt pot away with me to have for morning tea. I didn’t spend much time exploring the area directly around the hotel but Kings Cross train station is very close and easy to access. It can be a bit noisy at night and I personally didn’t feel safe as a solo woman walking the area after about 10pm. The hotel itself is functional but definitely needs a new coat of paint and some repairs on baseboards, lift buttons etc. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan, just a small vent. I had to prop the door open with a bin to air it out. I’m not sure whether there was mould in there but I’d not be surprised with the humidity from the shower and lack of ventilation. I also had significant trouble getting my key cards to work in the door but reception staff were able to resolve this for me very quickly. There’s also no storage in the rooms other than an open hanging rack, so be prepared for that. I was able to store my bag at the hotel while I explored the city before a late flight so that was a great service. It’s a pretty decent budget option and you get what you pay for. Again, I was very impressed with the friendly and professional staff members, and the bed was excellent.

Pros: -Staff was very professional and the rooms were cleaned daily -Quiet area -Close to many tourist areas and restaurants Cons: -Cleaning staff would often not clean dirty mugs or utensils, or forget to replace bathroom mats -Shower does not have a curtain or anything to prevent water from spreading through whole bathroom floor How to improve: -Add a shower curtain to prevent water spreading everywhere -It would help if a microwave was added to the room, as if your budget is limited, there are not a lot of items at the grocery store that you can eat without heating it up first

Bed was the worst ive slept in everything else was average

Comprehensive & fresh breakfast menu, friendly staff, clean room and many cafes & restaurants nearby in Victoria Street.

Nice, clean basic hotel. Nothing special to write about but greeted by friendly, helpful staff on arrival and our room was ready way before official check in time. Room was small but again clean and tidy. Comfortable bed with tea/coffee facilities although no safe. Aircon was good, as was the bathroom. Location was a fairly far from the centre (30/40 min walk to Opera House) but I didn’t mind as it was a nice walk through the Botanical Gardens. Note: the official entrance is to the rear of the building. The entrance from the main road is only stairs and no lifts. There are a couple of bars and coffee shops as you walk into the centre and overall, decent stay and would recommend to others.

The location was ideal and the room and general environment was standard especially considering the rates.

We had an excellent stay at Ibis Budget Sydney East, the staff were particularly helpful and friendly in every way. The breakfast's were good, and we enjoyed a full one every day. The position in regards to the centre of Sydney was good, took us about 20 minutes to reach the centre, and I am a slow walker. It was good for public transport too.

This is an excellent budget accommodation. It is clean, tidy and the beds are great. I really recommend it and will stay there again.
