Great Hotel close to shops great staff

Aaron at front desk was very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Loved the room. The desk was excellent and the bathroom was modern and beautiful.

My room was not made up, nor was my mini bar restocked after request. my room had neither milk nor a teaspoon My a la carte breakfast was cold. I was charged for 'complementary printing' Each time I communicated, I was met with justification rather then corrective action

I always stay here whenever I am in Melbourne. A great quality hotel in a really good location. Rooms are great and the breakfast buffet is of high quality. Having said that, having one person on reception on a Friday evening which is a key check in time meant a longer than acceptable wait for a 5 star property of this calibre. The hotel was extra busy due to the football finals… the breakfast staff struggled a little with keeping the food options stocked. While disappointing neither of these would stop me from staying there again.

Too many hidden charges. Far too many. MOST expensive hotel I have ever stayed in with bare services. NOT a luxury hotel at all. Way overpriced for an average hotel room. Many details overlooked very poorly - fridge not turned on. No air-conditioning turned on. Mini bar barely stocked. Will never stay here again despite the amazing staff. Feel financially violated at best. DO NOT recommend at all unless you like throwing away hard earned money.

The property was in close proximity to the sites.

Was excited to stay at this hotel but the service regarding check in was extremely disappointing! Staff at check in had zero personality and we’re not understanding at all. Was not able to check in until an hour after the actual check in time of 3 pm as I kept getting told the room was still being cleaned from when I first asked about 2.30. There was no action taken to hurry up the process until I got very annoyed. Luckily, the room was very clean.

Loved the friendliness of the staff, courteous and professional. Beautiful hotel, at a very reasonable rate.

Older hotel, no Netflix or comfy pillows for such an expensive hotel

Rooms are small and furniture & fixtures worn out. Breakfast spread was very disappointing. Only good about this hotel is friendly service and location.

Great facilities in the heart of Melbourne

The room cleaning wasn’t very good, we stayed 7nights in the hotel and the room is dusty everyday even after the house keeping. The shower and pipe was old needed updates.

Nice hotel. Good bed and the room was clean and well maintained. Our booking included breakfast and parking. I spoke to the hotel a couple of weeks before our stay to organise an early check in and find out about the parking. Early check in could not be guaranteed and we were informed that entry to parking was at rear of the hotel. This information was incorrect and we ended up in the wrong carpark and had to move the car and pay $17 as a result. Once I had the correct parking ticket, the hotel validated it but it didn’t work. This cost a further $30 to exit the carpark. Other areas of concern- pool and spa did not appear clean. There was a strange smell like the chemical balance/chlorine was not right. Breakfast offered a good variety but none of the “hot food” was in fact hot. Very disappointing and we ended up cutting breakfast short and found a cafe outside the hotel for brunch. Overall, this stay was quite expensive and very disappointing. I would not stay here again as there are plenty of better options in the city and Southbank/Crown Casino precinct.
