Mantra on View Surfers Paradise

It was ok

The room is always cleaned, which is excellent. The staff are helpful and courteous I did not try the breakfast Beach view was not as i was expecting from where I was booked, I thought it will be fronting the beach itself, but anyway it was my first time if Surfers Paradise, so I did not know much. But overall it is ok.

Room service was poor not many amenities , No restaurants service in the evening, no toiletries provided it. no lifts from the parking and very old building . Only best think about the hotel is Location and Ocean View.

We had 2 rooms between all our family. One room was acceptable in terms of cleanliness. The other room had water damage in the ceiling and black mould all over the cupboard and roof. The only other room was right next door to a rooftop high club so the family had a very noisy stay, having to sleep on trundler beds in a small room before being moved to the noisy room. Also there is no pool. Google images when you search the hotel show a pool. Buffet breakfast was good and location is great!

I checked in went to the room, went back to reception and told them I couldn’t stay as the room was horrible, they said they would return my money but I need to contact Expedia to inform them and have my money returned. Do not stay here, don’t waste your money.

This would have to be the worst motel we have stayed at. We payed decent money but were so disappointed. The beds are so small my husband and myself had to sleep in separate beds. It was so noice hearing other guests and their doors closing and opening. I even communicated on the app and no one messaged back. In regards to arriving and being recommended to stay at the Mantra. Very disappointing Lisa

The place looks really aged. The access cards were hit and miss during our first night did not work properly at the glass door from the Level 2 parking to the lobby, on the lifts and on our main door. The lifts from Levels 2 and 3 parking to the lobby also looked old. Shower is ok, bed is ok but pillows were quite hard. We reported our access card to the receptionist and she was very accommodating and friendly. Cards were replaced. The people at the canteen area were also very friendly. The breakfast was ok, my children loved the pastries. No swimming pool.

Lovely view from our balcony, large room, comfortable beds, friendly and professional staff. Excellent location, only 2 minutes walk to the beach. We loved it!

Old rooms but not to complain for the price

I thought this was the worst stay I had ever had at the Gold Coast. Total waste.

Ocean view room was very minimal view. Definitely a city view. Rooms were very average and outdated with shower over a bath that didn’t work properly.

Only thing that I can fault was no exhaust fan in bathroom, otherwise excellent , very friendly accomodating staff and a very enjoyable stay, excellent location and only a 2 minute walk to tram stop that took us to connecting airport bus , thank you for making our trip more enjoyable and hassle free

I had a city view which was Great . The break did feel fresh I thoroughly enjoyed it

Beach views were nice and breakfast options had variety

Ocean view room is nice. Buffect breakfast is good too!

Great staff

Der Meerblick war sehr schön. Die Betten waren bequem und sauber. Ansonsten merkt man, dass die Zimmer schon etwas älter sind bzw. etwas ramponiert. Flecken auf den Vorhängen und auf dem Teppich. Das Frühstück hat uns begeistert. So lecker Auswahl und alles frisch.
