Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour

The accommodation was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. It was convenient to get around as the light rail station was nearby. I will visit again next time.

주변에 뭐 없는 호텔 위치는 그렇다치고.. 호텔스닷컴에서 전부 결재하고 갔는데, 입실한 날 호텔측에싀 또 결재를 했습니다. 가서 물었더니 실수다 취소해주겠다 했지만 귀국한 지금도 취소 문자가 않옵니다. 미안하다고만 하면 끝인가요? 계속 제가 신경써야 하나요 취소될때까지?

객실이 먼지 등 위생이 별로네요

오래된 호텔입니다 잘 관리를 했지만 침구가 편하지는 않았어요 딱 가격만큼의 호텔입니다

달링하버와 가깝고 더스타 카지노와도 가까워서 좋다. 달링하버로 나갈때에는 G층으로 내려가서 주차장을 통해 엘리베이터를 타고 내려가서 트램역 컨벤션역을 건너 가면 좋다. 다른 곳으로 나가면 엄청 돌아가야되고 헤멘다.

Check in was fast and smooth and guy ws very friendly and when asked about the brekky told me it is cheaper to book with him than pay at the resto in the morning, we saved $15 for the 3 of us. However nice the beds are, the issue was that one of the glasses I used to drink was not washed well and I had a seafood allergy. I thought after taking a sip of water that I smelled something fishy. I asked my friend to smell the rim and true enough, she said it smelled like "mackerel". That night, I had a very bad reaction, couldn't sleep as I was so itchy and my friends said around 2:30 am, my face as all red with rashes! I was itchy all over and had a very bad time. I hardly slept, desptie taking antihistamines, it was a terrible feeling, I had to take another one to help me breathe well! My feet were so red, thighs and eyes so itchy too! My friend thought they needed to take me to a hospital, that was very scary indeed. I must have slept one hour, they said, I was so exhausted but I soldiered on as we had a cruise to do! I will probably stay there again but I will smell the glasses and mugs first. Buffet brekky was ok, but the blueberry danish was so tough for me, tasted old. I ws jsut back from Paris last May and the croissants and pasteries were not so nice at the buffet unfortunately. The juices were good and there a a great vrety to choose but I as still not feeling so well that morning, so was so careful of every item there.

We had an average stay overall. We paid an additional premium to book a Harbour View room, but unfortunately the actual view was very different from what was advertised on the booking page. Most of the view was blocked by ongoing construction, leaving only a very limited view of Darling Harbour. The hotel staff explained that the Darling Harbour area will continue to be affected by construction for the next few years, and that this is now the typical view from these rooms. However, this information is not mentioned anywhere in the room description, nor is it reflected in the photos on the booking page. We believe guests should be clearly informed before paying extra for a Harbour View room. After we contacted both the hotel and Expedia, they kindly arranged to move us to a higher-floor room. We appreciated their effort, and the new room was quieter. Unfortunately, the view was almost unchanged, so it was disappointing that it still did not match what had been advertised. The staff were friendly and tried to help throughout our stay. Our only suggestion is that the hotel update its room photos and description to accurately reflect the current view, so future guests can make an informed booking decision.

The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the room a great size for 4 people. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amenities. The only issue was the water temperature, which was rather cool for our morning showers.

I wouldn't mind a better room service menu and a 24hr access to beverages via a vending machine
