Smiths Beach Resort

Very clean room with magnificent ocean glimpses. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. A very spacious, well furnished balcony. Whole apartment was very tastefully appointed. Supplies were extremely generous.

Amazing property and lived up to what was promised. We stayed at the end of January and the region was quietened down a bit from the holiday rush. The unit was immaculate. Booking through Expedia meant that we got a very good deal. We were 'upgraded' on arrival and I felt under pressure t be effusively grateful. What was going though my mind was that the original property I booked thinking it was on one level whereas the upgraded apartment had an internal staircase. I was thinking in my mind whether accessibility would make a difference. It was a bit disappointing that I wasn't given the chance to think on this. The change to apartment type may have been more a convenience to the property than to me personally! Perhaps at a property at this high end, the offer of an 'upgrade' could be a bit more sensitively handled as that, an 'offer' not a done deal. (As it turns out, the apartment's internal staircase was very well designed and easy to navigate).

Everything was beautiful and immaculate. The pool was just wonderful. Our 2nd stay and we will come back again.

Would be nice to have a safe in the room for passport’s and travel documents

We stayed in a 2 bedroom beach shack, the design of which was a bit squeezy for 4 adults. Even the parking spot seemed narrow. However, room was clean, staff super attentive. Stunning location, excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

Ej lyxuru. Saknas service, boendet börjar bli slitet. Trevliga meeen definitivt ej lyxury. Cafe ej öppet. Man kan inte köpa nåt förutom frukost. Ej ens en dricka i poolen. Poolen ny,men i övrigt dåligt städat runt poolen.

Was an amazing place to stay and relax both of us and our kids loved the beach and the food!! Would recommend this property to anyone that wanted the best experience and views you could ask for.

Katie at reception was very pleasant upon our check-in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were easy walking distance to the beach and to the Cape to Cape Trail. The staff at Lamont‘s restaurant were also very pleasant and friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty with wonderful flavor. The other lady at reception was also very pleasant, but I cannot remember her name. There is a washing machine in the bathroom which is convenient for washing beach clothing.

Everything about this accommodation was a WOW for us!! The location, the staff, the food, the accommodation - all exceeded expectations and we would love to come back one day!! We talk about Smiths with such fond memories.
