Such a great room! Overlooked the "lake" but easy access to the beach and a beautiful view. The room was super clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff were so friendly and had great recommendations!

I spent 2 nights there in mid March. Check in and check out were easy and a pleasant experience. The room was a bit dated but comfortable. The location is good, with a 10 minute or so walk into Terrigal shops via the road, or a 5 minute walk along the beach at low tide. I can see why this is a popular place to stay in the warmer months.

Pris une chambre avec balcon et me suis retrouvé dans une chambre au rez-de-chaussée sans aucune visibilité à part sur le parking.. En arrivant l'hôtelière m'avait prévenu que la chambre choisie n'avait pas de visibilité et si je voulais vue sur le lac c'était 20 $AUD par nuit et que la chambre était au 2eme étage et ceci sans ascenseur.. Donc suis resté au rdc et effectivement psur l'arrière une vue sur un conteneur. Et une odeur dans la chambre, cette dernière ne devait pas être utilisée souvent... La nuit je n'ai pas réussi à dormir correctement à cause du bruit du réfrigérateur et de ce fait le lendemain midi j'ai réservé une chambre dans un autre hôtel.

Staff were amazing and welcoming.

The room was very clean but the bathroom is outdated with no shelf for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash so they sat on the floor. This would be such an easy fix. The older style vanity provides little room for toiletries and I had to lean in a lot to get close to the mirror when putting on make up. Good water pressure from the shower. The mattress was noisy but comfortable. I actually forgot to turn the iron off and it doesn't have an auto switch off if left on, so management should consider replacing it to avoid potential fire. I didn't return to the room for about 5 hours. Sorry big mistake on my behalf. As for location we didn't go to the beach but it was just outside, perfect for beachgoers. The view outside our sliding door was awesome. There was only parking for one vehicle but the reception was really helpful and provided directions for an alternative and offered to let security know to check the vehicle at night.

Weekend stay at The Cottage with friends. Fantastic location only a short walk to lagoon & the beach.

Close to river lots people passing our room on walks with dogs Bit noisy with cars and trucks and a hoon late at night

Wet weather for the weekend but it’s what you make of the day that makes a difference

The location and helpful staff.

Room was recently renovated but still very dated and hodgepodge.. AC and tv ran off the same circuit… was very clean but that’s the price difference $200 - $400 a night at this location so you get what you pay for

The team there always go out of their way to make sure we're comfortable and welcome. It's a home away from home

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the clan, great location. easy walk to everything. lovely outlook to the river and Terrigal beach. all of the staff are friendly.

Slightly dated but lovely place to stay with pretty outlook and great service including Maccoa Cafe for breakfast.
