직원이 방에 노크 없이 들어왔다

호텔은 세월의 흔적이 느껴지는 곳이더군요.(로비에 83년준공된 사진이..) 왠지 어딘지 모르게 (한국분들은 아실듯한 )그 옛날 잘나가던 시절의 한화콘도나 대명콘도같은 느낌적인 느낌ㅋㅋ 처음 체크인하고 방을 둘러봤을땐90년대를 연상시키는 올드한 인테리어 분위기에 좀 심란했는데 하루하루 지날수록 이상~하게 편안하게 느껴지더군요. 매일아침 창밖으로 보이는 강가의 평화로운 풍경(방에 따라서 강쪽이 아닌 도롯가 빌딩쪽이 될수도 있음) 작지만 잘 구비되어진 주방시설. 무엇보다도 엄청 커다란 원형 월풀욕조가 실내에 있어서 깜짝 놀랐어요.(세명은 들어갈 사이즈) 룸설명란에 자동분사식 욕실이라 되어있어서 무슨 소리인가했거든요. 저희 어머니는 욕조가 제일 맘에 드신다고 매일 저녁 탕에 들어가 반신욕을 즐기셨어요ㅋ 뭔가 왕년에 잘 나갔어~느낌의 인테리어..근데 좀 낡았지만 룸도 크고 있을건 다 있는.. 다만 너무 오래 사용되어 꼬질해진 소파는 좀 교체하는게 좋겠구요.침대 메트리스도 많~이 꿀렁합니다. 호텔위치는 정말 나이스~ 서로 경쟁하듯이 높이 솟아있는 빌딩들 사이에 아담하게 들어서 있지만 바로 강가의 공원(유람선 선착장가기 좋음) 길건너서 5~10분 산책삼아 걷다보면 바로 서퍼스파라다이스거리와 바닷가. 암튼 장단점이 있지만 가격대비 나쁘지않았어요.

휴대폰을 잃러버렸는데 함께 찾아주고 걱정해주고 너무 친절하게 대해주었다. 체크아웃하는 날 짐을 맡길 때도 그들은 매우 친절한 미소로 대해주었다.

2박을 했는데 수건 바꿔 달라고 말하니 돈을 내라고 하라더군요.. 미리 공지가 되어 있었던 것도 아니고 좀 황당하고 수영장에 bar도 다 닫혀있고.. 운영을 하고 있는지 의문이 들더군요.. 수영장에 타월도 없고.. 왜 저렴한지 좀 알 것 같더군요.. 쇼파베드는 직접 펴야하고.. 야간엔 직원도 없어서 너무 불편해서 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않고 추천도 하고 싶지 않네요..

Lovely stay at Tiki. A little disappointed the pool and spa was closed due to maintenance work but other then that facilities were good

It was an older style motel. Comfortable room. The round spa was unique. Lovely staff on checking in and checking out.

Stayed there 40 years ago. I was well priced and understandably old, but well located.

Needed tiles replaced in both pools. If they hydro washed all walking surfaces it will bring back the hotel to a higher standard. Caught staff smoking a metre away from our front door on two occasions. Smoke went through our room.

A very large one bedroom apartment with a fabulous view and the Hotel Manager was very accomodating when we asked to move apartments as it was so noisy. Unfortunately, the quieter apartment during the day doesn’t stop the horrific noise at night. Constant screaming, sirens, cars racing, doors slamming in the apartments, arguing. This can all be solved with double glazed windows and sound proofing. Liked the second apartment but out of three nights we slept last night and that was only due to purchasing sleeping tablets. This was our one holiday for the year and cost a lot of money.

staff is friendly, location is convenient, easy to park(pay extra), but the noise from fridge is soooo loud, especially during the night time.

Really enjoyed our stay! Kids absolutely loved the pool, slide and spa bath in the bedroom. It’s an older hotel, so not in perfect/new condition which is fantastic when you’ve got 3 kids with you. The hotel was very spacious with heaps of places to sleep. I asked for extra towels and they brought them up so fast! Great location as well, excellent views of the river. Took only 5 mins to walk into Cavill ave. Fully stocked kitchen as well if you wanted to cook and a full sized fridge. Also has wifi and smart TV’s , so we could watch Netflix which you don’t always get in hotels. Absolutely loved our stay and we would stay again. There was also SO much storage inside the hotel!

Came with family, worth it. Old building, but worth the staying. Good view for everything near to shops. Love the pool, BBQ n even our room.

If you must stay in surfers it is on the high end of what is available. Rooms were dirty. Building is old. Windows rattle. Blinds are broken so the light outside constantly shines in. Very loud over the weekend. Spend the little bit extra and stay at Novotel or outside the city.

I found it super clean throughout the apartment and plenty of room to move around, everything one needs at your fingertips. Great location and you may want to bring your eye mask for a more peaceful sleep as I was a little disappointed with the amount of street light shining directly into the bedroom at night through the large gaps between the blinds it was darker in the lounge room than the bedroom, had some difficulty with the door lock at first but after talking with staff on my phone it worked properly again. I was it very cold and the heater/air conditioner is not in bedroom it's in the kitchen, as long as you know how to use the remote control for it you shouldn't need to freeze like I did for a while.

Whilst the room was fairly clean, the bed comfortable and shower pressure good. The bath wouldn’t fill up, the rooms are very outdated and if you were in the 80’s and the noise was horrible. Both my partner and I hardly got any sleep you could not only hear every vehicle that drive by on the main road clear as day you could also hear peoples conversations on the street very clearly it was as if there where no windows in the room at all. Might we suggest investing in double glazed windows to reduce the noise?
