오래 된 건물을 호텔로 개조한 곳이라서 복도도 좁고 방도 좁은 편이지만 직원이 쾌활하고 친절합니다. 레지덴츠 광장 바로 옆이라서 여행 동선이 아주 편리한 곳입니다. 10층에 있는 레스토랑도 음식 맛이 훌륭합니다.

해외여행에서 다녀본 호텔 중 가장 추천할만한 곳 중 하나. 편안하고 넓은 객실과 깨끗한 욕실. 오스트리아에서 흔히 만나보기 어려운 친절하고 다정한 직원들. 분위기 있는 여행을 원하는 커플들에게 적극 추천.

The staffs were not helpful. They provided just a formal care, not a practical help.

정말 특별한 느낌이 들게 해주는 숙소였습니다. 시설이 매우좋고 깔끔합니다. 위치 또한 게트라이더거리와 1분도 안되는 곳에 위치하고 있어서 관광하기 매우 편리합니다. 호텔 근처 버스정류장에서는 헨부른궁전으로 가는 25번 버스가 서고 기차역에서도 버스를타면 호텔근처에 내립니다.

This is an amazing hotel. From the check in where you get personal attention from Ulrike and have all questions answered over a glass of sparking wine or tea, to the magnificent rooms, to the wonderful in house restaurant. The location in the old town could not be better. A few minutes walk to the cable car up to the fortress, to the many shops in the old town. Walking bridges are also not far away if you want to walk to the other side of town across the river. If you can book a room on the fourth floor at the top with access to your own roof top sitting area. This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed at. Ulrike organised us taxis when needed, and she also organised the ‘Sound of Music’ tour for us - which by the way was a lot of fun, even if you are not a super fan of the movie.

The location was fantastic for Christmas markets. The check in lady was extraordinarily friendly and kind. The only issues we experienced were the tiny doorways and tight everything. Watch your head, I nailed mine several times at 6’3” tall. The building is a trillion years old, so you can’t have it all. The door to our room 20 never shut automatically which provided unnecessary stress of “is my room locked?” The bed had a massive hill type lump in between where two people sleep, preventing any comfortable cuddling. Otherwise a good experience. Tiny elevator! Salzburg is a must visit.

Place was really nice, small but nice

The most wonderful part of staying at Hotel Goldgasse is the Manager Ulrieke. When I arrive, she greeted me by name, even if I saw her in the street she greeted me by name. She knows everything, is so helpful, I cannot say enough, good things about her. The hotel itself is charming. I had a single room and found it a little disconcerting to have a double bed with a single duvet. But that's a very small complaint. Otherwise, this hotel is perfect.

Room was a little small but adequate, reception manager was friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was good (continental) Hotel is excellently situated in a central position within the old town, all sights within walking distance. 5* choice for my wife and I.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and it is Ulrich who made the visit so memorable. Right from the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and that your comfort matters. She truly cares about her guests and goes out of the way to help if needed. The rooms are bright, colorful and spacious. Location is very convenient . Thanks Beatrice and Nico for greeting us with a smile at breakfast every morning!

One night stay here visiting Salzburg. Well appointed, very clean and cozy hotel that is walking distance from main attractions in old town. Breakfast was amazing and even though we didn’t eat dinner at hotel, the restaurant looked beautiful and I heard the food is outstanding. The staff were so kind and helpful. They made check in seamless, we arrived by car and it’s not the easiest location to drive up to because of the pedestrian square. I believe it was Chris from reception, came right out to direct us and assist from the moment we arrived. Parking is available a short walk from the hotel. The room appeared freshly renovated with comfortable bed, crisp sheets, stocked fridge, coffee and tea, all complimentary. Breakfast was delicious and our server, Beatrice, was charming! Would highly recommend if you’re heading to Salzburg.

Sehr schön renoviertes Hotel, mitten in der Fussgängerzone, mega leckeres Frühstück, super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal und natürliche Ulrike Koller: sie vermittelt das Gefühl zu Hause bei Freunden zu sein und man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Vielen Dank!

The Goldgasse is the most beautiful, personalized hotel experience we have had and we intend to return here every time we visit Salzburg.

I stayed at this property with my mom for one night and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Seriously, it’s that amazing. The staff is SO welcoming, kind, friendly, accommodating, etc. We have stayed in quite a few hotels but we can both say this is a top experience for us. Excellent location, beautiful and spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Salzburg and we hope to return ourselves one day!!
