The check in was too slow — two ladies dealing with me and another guest should have gone smoothly. The check out was even worse — the staff member that told me her name is Crystal acted as if she was paying for my stay (no professional mannerism, no smile, no kindness, no politeness, etc.). I told her I was very sorry for whatever is happening to her and for being in the wrong place. I saw a few Water Bugs during my stay. There’s a mini-fridge and a microwave, but no table, and no single spoon, fork, knife, plate or cup. They give you two large towels and one smallest one. You have to ask them to change the towels. The sheets weren’t changed during my 7-night stay, they were just tightened once. One day, another lady just entered my room without knocking. She assumed I wasn’t there and I was butt naked. She said she only wanted to check if I have enough toiletries. Speaking of, I had to buy my own soap, which I don’t mind, but definitely shouldn’t have relied on their lowest quality soap and shampoo. There’s no balcony. Overall, I knew it was a low budget place, but the place that is much better than this and is within the same budget and location range is Meridian Inn. So if you wanna stay in the Gap near the beach, go to Meridian Inn instead (I’ve been there twice; they weren’t available for my whole stay this time).

Harlem B & B provides a clean comfortable basic room in St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants and the beach. The staff are friendly. We found our room a little noisy as it was close to reception. The doorbell could be heard playing its tune. Breakfast was extra and basic.

It felt like home away from home. The owner was very helpful and have us a taxi to do the important stuff. I didn’t regret picking this place I spent 7 days there. And I’ll definitely be back again

Good price quality accommodation. Clean and well equipped room. Good location near Dover beach and St-Lawrence Gap. Flexible check in, check out and luggages storage available. Noisy in early evening, but silent after 9 pm. Recommended.

Great potential. However, the washroom in our room wasn't cleaned and lacked toilet paper. The shower had hair and particles. The floor wasn't swept or mopped either. Other than that, the property has great potential. It's very conveniently located. Close to the breath. Great vibe.

The air-conditioning and hot water was fully functional in the room. The taxi services to an from the hotel was also excellent.
