Basic but comfortable accommodation in a great location - close to the beach, restaurants and bars.

The location was excellent.

It was fit for purpose

Harlem B & B provides a clean comfortable basic room in St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants and the beach. The staff are friendly. We found our room a little noisy as it was close to reception. The doorbell could be heard playing its tune. Breakfast was extra and basic.

It felt like home away from home. The owner was very helpful and have us a taxi to do the important stuff. I didn’t regret picking this place I spent 7 days there. And I’ll definitely be back again

Good price quality accommodation. Clean and well equipped room. Good location near Dover beach and St-Lawrence Gap. Flexible check in, check out and luggages storage available. Noisy in early evening, but silent after 9 pm. Recommended.

No apparent breakfast facilities; floor of room not cleaned; generally unclean with dusty drawers

Great potential. However, the washroom in our room wasn't cleaned and lacked toilet paper. The shower had hair and particles. The floor wasn't swept or mopped either. Other than that, the property has great potential. It's very conveniently located. Close to the breath. Great vibe.

Good value for the price.

The air-conditioning and hot water was fully functional in the room. The taxi services to an from the hotel was also excellent.

Sehr nah an der Partymeile und doch ruhig. Personal gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge & Strand am Tag, sowie Nightlife am Abend.

I found the property to be good value for money. Check-in was seamless. The room was clean with convenient amenities - hot water, mini fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board. Also very close (walking distance) to many dining and shopping options as well as the beach. Would definitely stay again.

My experience at this B & B was no doubt unique, but I wish to share it because it far surpassed my expectations. At the end of our two-week vacation, my husband required hospitalization, which was a very stressful experience for both of us. I needed a place to stay that was quiet, comfortable and clean. When I saw Harlem B&B on the Expedia website, and noticed the favorable reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was exactly what I needed. My room was comfortable, clean, and decorated with fresh, sunny yellow, walls that lifted my spirits. The staff were amazing. Latoya and Charlene were caring and kind. They sympathized with my situation and were there when I returned from my daily hospital visits. It almost felt as though they were family by the time I left. Scott, the owner, bent over backward to be accommodating. He also expressed empathy for my situation. The B&B sits virtually across the street from the Southern Palms Beach resort, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the beach and waves if you have a meal at their restaurant. My husband and I will stay there again the next time we visit that part of Barbados. It is also likely that my daughter and her boyfriend will do the same, when they visit Dover Beach.
