The staff was cheerful and very helpful. They booked a taxi for us and even tried to call me when they found my husband’s credit card on the ground outside the hotel! The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious with all the selections we could have wanted. We had a wonderful stay!

The staff was very helpful. They had us in the wrong room for the first night but accommodated by giving us a cash refund for the difference, a beer, and next day breakfast. The rooms are darling, great location, just blocks walking to our bus stop to the train station and all the shops & cafes. Canal at night (and day!) is beautiful. Take the boat tour, it’s an amazing view of a beautiful town.

Lovely boutique hotel walking distance to everything. Highly recommmend, super spacious rooms and very quiet and clean

Hotel Augustyn is a charming hotel a short (8 mins) walk from the town centre and the Belfry. Located right near one of the picturesque canals, it was a relaxing place to stay in Bruges. Good continental breakfast too. Highly recommended.

O hotel não fica no centro, fica numa área distante 10 min caminhando. Prédio muito lindo e bem conservado. Ficamos num quarto grande, no sótão, mas que não tinha elevador (não fomos avisados anteriormente disso) e sem frigobar. Vista maravilhosa do quarto. Equipe atenciosa. Não tem recepção após as 20hs. Café bom. Achei o hotel bom mas não vale o valor pago.

Easy and safe parking for Motorcycles

We have given 5 stars as the hotel & location were excellent. BUT would strongly advise finding out if there's any roadworks being carried out near the hotel! We were woken both mornings at 7.30am with very loud road works outside. If we had known these works were going on we would have booked a different hotel in a quiet area. While we appreciate repair works are necessary we really feel we should have been informed prior to our stay to make a choice. We were away to relax in the peace & calm of Bruges not to be woken up early.

Was unable to take an immediate shower due to clogged drain, however, staff were very responsive&immediately fixed the situation. My friend's bed had bedbugs resulting in bites on her face, neck and arms. Staff blamed it on her getting bit while walking around town and were not concerned

We were surprised there was no phone or safe in the room and the property was not attended at night. Breakfast was limited and no change from day to day. Location was convenient and walkable

O chão do quarto não era limpo. Simplesmente deixei uma xícara de café no chão e durante 4 dias da estadia não tiraram de lá. Não limpam o chão do quarto, simples assim. O café da manhã era bom. Nada demais. A localização do hotel excelente. Não tem estacionamento. A equipe se mostrou solicita e sempre simpática

Room,staff and breakfast..everything is perfect

Stayed 2 nights in the family apartment. Welcoming staff, clean apartment. Parking was easy, across the canal, 2 minutes walk away. Lovely big room, great kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Lovely hotel in super location- 5 minutes walk to the main squares. Right on the canal. We booked parking and given secure garage space within in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was okay - limited choice if you got there late. Bar was a nice addition although choice of spirits were limited but staff very attentive. There is no bar available after 10pm or hotel staff - you have to take your key. Not a problem for us. Would highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel room was wonderful with lots of room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Convenient walking to many attractions and restaurants.

Bruges demands the perfect base, and Hotel Augustyn delivers exactly that. We visited as a family — myself, my husband, and our 8-year-old daughter — and it was a joy from start to finish. The location is ideal. Close enough to all the major sights to feel connected to the magic of Bruges, yet tucked away enough that you never feel overwhelmed. The staff were excellent throughout — warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which makes such a difference when travelling with a child. The hotel itself is everything you'd want from a Bruges stay: charming, beautifully presented, and every bit the chocolate-box retreat the city promises. Parking in Bruges can be a real headache, so secure parking just across the road was a welcome bonus — it made the whole trip so much more relaxed not having to worry about that. We skipped breakfast during our stay, though it looked beautiful. Exceptional value for money too — genuinely reasonable for the quality and location on offer. If you're planning a family trip to Bruges, look no further. We'll absolutely be back.
