We had a wonderful stay at the Iguazu Jungle Lodge! The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very good, for both the included breakfast and for dinner. I love how natural the surroundings are and especially loved our balcony looking over the river and jungle. There are a few other comments mentioning the surrounding neighborhood being less than desirable, but we didn’t have any problem with it and enjoyed walking to town. Overall a fantastic place and I would highly recommend it!

Ipanema Inn is a perfect landing spot for a trip to Rio. 1 block from the beach, 1 block to the Metro. Very nice neighborhood. And, not the least, hospitality is above and beyond. Our room was super clean and after staying for a week my husband and I feel rested.

I have stayed at the Ipanema Inn since 1982, I have seen it go from a simple low cost hotel to what I consider now a very nice modern hotel. This hotel is cozy, the rooms are not big, but they are very comfortable, modern, and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom has everything from cleanliness to a modern style. The staff is the best, and down in the lobby you have a restaurant and a full bar. I highly recommend this hotel to the traveler who is looking for a clean, safe, friendly family style hotel without bankrupting your wallet. Great place I will always stay there.

I and my girlfriend had an wonderful stay at Ipanema Inn. The staff is absolutely courteous, the included breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect. I was expecting kind of a normalish inn based on the pictures, but the room was very nice and was kept clean daily. Many bonus points to the in-room hammock! We had a great leisure time.

The room, the staff and the neighborhood around it plus the access to the beach makes it a perfect spot if you’re in Ipanema. There was construction next door so it got really loud sometimes especially when you want to enjoy a meal and coffee on the patio.
