No towels, had to go and look for them. Poor variety in breakfast. Got an upgrade on the room, which was very large

The receptionist was excellent. As a foreigner, her welcome and kindness was above and beyond, thank you kindly. The rest of the staff were also amazing. I will never forget the woman at breakfast bringing me Mikitsi with icing sugar, and telling me eat…eat, so personal and sweet. The spa is included, except for the turkish bath, and it was clean and refreshing after a long day of travelling. The hottub could of been a little hotter and with more jets, but nevertheless good enough. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and when I return i will stay here again without a heartbeat!!

posizione comoda per il centro cittadino - parcheggio disponibile - stanza confortevole (peccato per la presenza degli asciugamani dei precedenti ospiti nascosti dietro le tende e un dispenser del sapone riempito con la lozione per il corpo) - spa molto apprezzata per l’acqua termale - colazione ampiamente insufficiente (presenti praticamente solo alimenti salati ed infusi, assenti frutta, marmellate, fette biscottate, panini, brioches, biscotti e té, con alzata di spalle alla mia richiesta de fosse stato possibile averlo)

First rooom wet mildewed cartep, second room filthy shag, nasty front desk personnel on personal calls, a/c pathetic. Ads look great with. Spa (tepid jacuzzi), worst hotel on trip, 13th hotel a jinx. Would you like it here?

Nos ofrecieron un upgrade gratuito de la habitación, lo que es de agradecer. Sin embargo, todo el hotel incluida la habitación olía muchísimo a humedad. Las instalaciones estaban descuidadas e incluso rotas. El parking es solamente gratuito frente al hotel, si te hospedas aquí. Nosotros aparcamos en la calle de atrás y nos pusieron un cepo. Ubicación excelente para la fortaleza.

Really poor!!! Not an hotel, rather a bunch of rooms with a so called spa. Receptions closes at night and nobody is there to address any situation. Bathroom only has a bathtub for shower without any courtains, so bathroom gets all wet and slippery. Make room concept was poor …. Just “made barely” the bed and dry the bathroom. There is a continuous noise in the bathroom at midnight for a couple of hours coming from the fact the toilet water tank was leaking and when the pump tries to load it again, there is a noise like a trumpet for a few seconds, every few minutes for a couple of hours at midnight. The air con does not work….. at least breakfast was decent. Do not understand how it got decent ratings because it always not good at all

Beautiful hotel! Clean, esthetic, friendly and conveniently located to the fortress and a short walk to the main road. This hotel literally has the best towels and breakfast pastries ever ! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Overall nice place but the floor under ours was in full construction mode. The one thing that bothered us a bit was the toilets which were almost fully see through. It is great to get some privacy. Mattress as well was a bit worn off and ready for a change. Everything else was good

When travelling to Bulgaria this is the hotel I like to use.

I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The location was close to the castle, breakfast was great and I could park my motorcycle in the underground garage.

Can you believe that this hotel is only 3 star, amazing place, very delicious typical bulgarian breakfast. Quite and comfortable room with large bed and AC climatisation. Very young and friendly staff, large covered and outside parking place.

Lige fra det øjeblik vi trådte ind i receptionen følte vi os velkomne. Den sødeste pige tog imod os, fik parkeret vores bagage til værelset var klar og sendte os bare afsted med besked om, at formaliterne klarede vi når vi var klar. Selv om værelset ikke var helt nyt, var det pænt og rent at komme på. Godt udluftet og ingen nullermænd i krogene. Anden dags rengøring var nok gået lidt hurtigt, men det var kun på sengeredningen og de lidt henkastede håndklæder der fik en til at synes det. Generelt oplevede vi meget velvillighed og et ønske om at vi skulle befinde os godt. Vi havde valgt værelse med udsigt og det var et plus. Det kan anbefales at have et par ørepropper med. Der er lidt lydt og har man ''naboer'' der mødes og hyggesnakker på værelset, høres det tydeligt. Værelset var pænt og stort. God garderobe plads og et super lækkert badeværelse. Det eneste vi kunne have ønsket var muligheden for at lave en kop kaffe på værelset. Men alt i alt, så vi kan kun give vores varmeste anbefaling.

Hotel called me 3 days before my arrival and asked for deposit. Unprofessinal staff during check-in. Hotel blocked my car in hotel parking, I have to wait long time till they open the gate. 24/7 reception is not available. Left rubbish in my room.

2 night stay. Great location just 5 mins walk to entrance fortifications and also sound and light. Elegant hotel with indoor Spa. Pool, sauna, steam room. Didn’t use as families enjoying. Super breakfast and reception staff particularly good.

Didn’t like how the bathroom and shower were just glass. Zero privacy, n the bathroom door didn’t fully close. The bedroom was covered with carpet, which isn’t favourable since the bathroom door doesn’t fully close theres a solid chance that the water from the shower is getting the carpet wet
