Air conditioning in the room was not working. Beds comfy! Perfect location for our purpose in town. Would stay again

Very nice room. Only drawback us the number of stairs to get to the rooms.

The Clocktower Inn looked beautiful in the advertisement and definitely has a quaint boutique charm. The location is excellent, right in the town of Strathmore, with a restaurant conveniently downstairs. That said, the inn is a little antiquated. When I checked in, there were no staff available other than the restaurant hosts. Unfortunately, my room was on the third floor, which made carrying heavy suitcases quite difficult. The room itself had only a very small frosted window that you couldn’t really see out of, and there was a desk but no chair. The TV cables were hanging visibly below the wall-mounted television, which made the room feel unfinished. The biggest issue was the hot water. I could only get hot water for about a minute and a half at a time while trying to fill the bathtub, so I had to keep turning the water on and off repeatedly. Overall, if you enjoy boutique-style inns, want to stay somewhere quaint and centrally located, and don’t have mobility issues or a lot of luggage, you would probably enjoy your stay. However, I would avoid booking the Prince of Wales room and would strongly recommend asking which rooms have proper windows before reserving.

Property is vintage, thete is no elevator. On site bistro is great!!! A good place to stay at Strathroy

The room was clean and the staff at check-in was great. There was free parking in close proximity and a common kitchen for quick breakfast or reheating food.

Stay was alright, having to carry around a key is annoying. Having no fridge is a big inconvenience in this day and age. Only garbage is in the bathroom. Small room for the price definitely not worth it. Bathroom is beautiful pretty much the same size as room. Told there was parking in the back didn’t see any signage for parking. No fridge and minimal counter space for the price as well as ac that requires the window to be open with the train blasting their horn every hour is definitely not ideal. I’m nice I’ll rate it 3 stars if this was in a populous city I’d give it 1.

Great central location with excellent food at restaurant with great historical characteristics with modern conveniences. I stay here every time I am in the area.

The room was a run down as was the breakfast from. Having no Proper shower just a hand held shower head is a huge problem. The staff were amazing! Very considerate and understanding!
