DoubleTree by Hilton Kingston

The hotel had a pool, which seemed to attract many large family groups. The noise from families playing in the hallways was extremely irritating. The bathroom in the room only had a shower booth, but the floors and walls felt rough with what appeared to be other people's dead skin. It made me question whether the place was cleaned at all—truly the worst. The toilet handle seemed broken and barely functional, which was very disappointing. Inside the room, electrical wires were untidily hanging from the wall, creating a messy and unsafe appearance. The coffee machine was dirty, and the supposedly new disposable cups had coffee stains on them, which was shocking. It seemed clear that the cleaning standards were extremely poor. On top of that, the room was poorly soundproofed, and I could hear conversations from both the hallway and the neighboring rooms, leaving me unable to escape the noise.

Very clean room, there is lots of parking and security.

Lovely property in a good location . Quiet and clean . Had a wonderful breakfast which is Ala Carte . Buffet breakfasts are usually disappointing . Next time I’m in Kingston I will not hesitate to book this location . Thank you .

Am Tag vor meiner Abreise wurde kein Housekeeping gemacht, obwohl das "bitte nicht stören" Schild nicht aussen an der Türe hing. An allen vorangegangenen Tagen war das Housekeeping im Zimmer gemacht. Jedoch hatte es an dem Tag keine WC Rolle als Ersatz mehr im Bad. Als ich die Dame vom Housekeeping am nächsten Morgen bat, mir eine Rolle zu geben, hat diese etwas seltsam reagiert, mir aber dann, nach nochmaliger Rückfrage, doch noch eine Rolle ausgehändigt Grundsätzlich müsste aus meiner Sicht bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten nicht unbedingt täglich die Bettwäsche gewechselt werden. Man hat in vielen Hotels auch die Möglichkeit zu sagen, wie oft man diese gewechselt haben möchte. Dies auch aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen.

Newer hotel. Large rooms, modern, clean and friendly staff. I didn’t not use any amenities. Definitely would stay here again.

The shower could have been a bit stronger & a hairdryer that had separate controls for the heat & speed would have been nice but otherwise a very nice stay.

Overall experience was great!

I loved my room, the comfy bed & the welcome cookie. The food in the restaurant was quite tasty. The two things not so great: the breakfast coffee was so strong I couldn't drink it & not hot enough. Also, the breakfast waitress - an older lady - had dirty fingernails which really left a bad impression on me.

Good location, friendly staff and clean room.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located near the highway. However, there is nothing nearby in walking distance for an elderly.. the room is beautiful. A microwave would be nice. The restaurant “The Cannery” is wonderful and the staff are excellent. There is no free breakfast which is fine but for a Hilton, there is not free coffee that I could see. Overall a wonderful experience

maintenace guy knocked on our door at 8am to fix a broken bathroom door handle and bathroom door guide… woke us both up, seriously he should have waited until check out to come and fix that stuff…!i did tell him to come back after we left.
