DoubleTree by Hilton Kingston

The hotel had a pool, which seemed to attract many large family groups. The noise from families playing in the hallways was extremely irritating. The bathroom in the room only had a shower booth, but the floors and walls felt rough with what appeared to be other people's dead skin. It made me question whether the place was cleaned at all—truly the worst. The toilet handle seemed broken and barely functional, which was very disappointing. Inside the room, electrical wires were untidily hanging from the wall, creating a messy and unsafe appearance. The coffee machine was dirty, and the supposedly new disposable cups had coffee stains on them, which was shocking. It seemed clear that the cleaning standards were extremely poor. On top of that, the room was poorly soundproofed, and I could hear conversations from both the hallway and the neighboring rooms, leaving me unable to escape the noise.

Overall stay was good. But while checking out, i had asked for a bottle of water to drink and was told because i was part gold class or something of that nature, I wouldn't get it. I think it was and not necessary.

This is basically a housing complex that provides shelter to the homeless on the taxpayer's dime when it can't charge you $200/night

You book a room in a hotel and then they send you to the building next door. Loud, people in the halls being loud, security standing around doing nothing. Absolute dump, by Hilton.

Breakfast was delicious and speedy

Everything was spectacular from the front desk to the room. It was a pleasant day.

Excellent breakfast.

The room is clean and fairly quiet. We arrived on Christmas Eve and received a warm Christmas cookie from the receptionist which is quite nice.

Hotel breakfast was incredible . The upgrades they have done are beautiful . Was a little disappointed with the level of cleanliness of the hotel room bathroom . Long black hair everywhere , looked like it hadn’t been swept. Other than that it was a great stay !

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
