엘리베이터가 없어서 1층에 만족해야해서 전망이 없었지만 욕실 베드 모두 대만족. 특히 1층 프렌치토스트 최고

The location is terrific and the price is good. For an overnight work-oriented stay like mine, Hotel Ambrose was just fine. It's built into several repurposed rowhouses, which is common in downtown Montreal. Like a lot of similar places, that makes for weird interior architecture. I arrived at about 8:30 p.m., after the front desk was closed, and needed a code to get into the building (check your Expedia messages for the attachment with the info for how this works). I went out again that night to find some food and again early in the morning and did not see or hear a staff member or other guest the entire time until I checked out a bit later, when there was someone working at the reception desk/café counter. The whole thing was a bit eerie. But the room was perfectly clean, the shower worked and the door locked. I was not attacked by vampires. The only thing I might have wanted that I didn't have was readier access to morning coffee.

The location is excellent. Walking distante to subway, restaurants,Mcgill University, St Catherine street. The service from every one in the hotel was excellent. The hotel is an old building and needs some maintenance but the room was clean and with all services needed. The cafe in the hotel was also very good

The worst customer service i have ever encountered in my life. The room is much smaller than advertised. The bathroom toilet disgusting. When confronted he literally said if u don't like it you can leave. And proceeded to ask to leave. What an absolute filthy service. If I can report him to a bureau I will. Do not go there. Do not waste your money as they are bunch of liars.

Boutique hotel with no elevator, we need to carry luggages walk up to 2nd floor. Quite and have a nice coffee shop in lobby.

Good stay for F1

Perfect location, comfortable beds and the air conditioning worked great. The shower pressure is extremely light and most lights/lamps did not work. The building was messy and not clean but the room itself was acceptable. The staff were very kind but essentially no amenities, also no closet or drawers for clothing and they couldn’t provide an iron which is bare minimum for a hotel. They were able to keep our bags before our flight after we checked out which was nice.

Overall a decent place and conveniently located. It’s a very old building, with creaky floors and requires a lot of repairs. ( dirty carpets, ripped walls) . But still nice staff and beds were comfy. Thank you.

Very poorly maintained. Shabby room. Untidy and cluttered common areas. Would not recommend.

The location is good but overall conditions of the hotel needs improvement.

Hôtel à éviter. La chambre n’était pas propre du tout à notre arrivée, le sol collant, des meubles poussièreux, de la moisissure sur les murs. Nous avons changé d’hôtel, à fuir !

Nice location. Room was ok. Carpet was dingy and needs replaced.

Parking was difficult. I paid for parking and it was very difficult to park my truck. The on street parking wasn’t available. Otherwise, everything was adequate for my needs.

Very nice room, super spacious. Love the high ceiling and the small couch was very useful too. Great for its price. Love the vintage vibe.

A/C was mediocre; it worked but the location of the unit was not near us. Not sure how this wound pan out during the warmer months. This hotel was more or less a glorified hostel. Most of the building is under renovation and directions to our room was a little complicated. Common areas were cluttered and dusty but our room was fine. Bed was extremely uncomfortable but that’s just a personal preference. We had issues on our last morning with the water; we had no pressure so couldn’t shower…potential issues with the main water system as there were workers outside and water flooding the street. The toilet also made intermittent thumping noises throughout the night which would wake us up. There is a cute cafe when you first walk in and staff were helpful. Just note that parking is limited and expensive. They only have 4 spots available and it cost me an additional $70 to park my car for 2 nights. The best thing about this hotel was definitely the location; you are walking distance to McGill University, Mount Royal and all of downtown Montreal. Not sure if this balances the cost of parking at the hotel vs having to drive and pay for street parking. Not sure if I would stay here again if you factor in the cost of parking.

Amazing location right by McGill. A beautiful, old, quirky building. My room had a fireplace in it!

I like the location of this hotel and the coffee shop on the main floor. The building has a certain charm, and though the hallways/stairwell were dingy, the room itself was clean. My major complaint is that I stayed for two nights, and when I woke up on the second morning, there was no water! I called the front desk to inquire and was told that this was not planned: there was construction somewhere and they were looking into it. The person also mentioned that she didn't have water at her own home either, so the issue must be widespread. A few minutes later I went to a restaurant just around the corner for breakfast and asked if they had water, and they said yes, of course we have water. I understand that this issue was not within their control, but I think a person should be refunded if they cannot shower, flush a toilet, or even wash their hands when they wake up at a hotel!
