The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional. The bartender was very accommodating to our dogs and seating arrangements. There were no available seats in the main area, so he was granted permission to take a seat in the exclusive private poker room. He was incredibly personable, making our evenings enjoyable. Equally impressive was the night front desk staff member, who greeted us warmly and provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We were particularly thrilled with how dog-friendly the entire hotel was, as the staff made both us and our furry friend feel right at home. Our experience was so positive that we can’t wait to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming and accommodating place to stay.

A different vibe from the moment you step foot inside. Attentive and caring staff address all of your needs as you relax back into the groovy atmosphere. A very clean and well kept (and decorated) building. We had several meal at Roar, the on site restaurant and were never left wanting. Buttery soft pork belly or braised ribs that you will dream about for days. Our room was perfect with a comfortable king mattress, tasteful felt wallpaper, a big storage bench along the window, and a large bathtub with ample room for two. A memorable experience.

Hotel staff and restaurant staff were great. Property was clean. Ample parking available. Laundry facility was great. Coffee was excellent. Bedding was very comfortable. Cleaning needed to be done under the mattress. Sauna didn't appear to be working properly as it would not heat up well. There was also no bucket to add water to heater. Not enough towels available at hot tub. Instructions to run shower for warm water should be posted as people avoided the shower before entering hot tub because the shower was cold. Caulking around room mirror did not look great and it made the room feel cheap (311). Window for our room was hard to open and close.

No power to the rooms. For a hotel in this highly tourist town known for its storm season it is not prepared and doesn’t care about guest comfort. The power from the generator was reserved only for the expensive restaurant. No discount for lack of any power or light in rooms.

They do a great job of blending comfort and interest, high-end and funky. The forest sauna is a great touch, along with the mini arcade. We didn't try the food, but the menu seemed like it might have items worth traveling in for. Because Tofino is a hot spot, accommodations and attractions are going to cost a bit of a premium. However, this place wasn't that much more considering the level of varied value and its proximity to the main strip. Skip the people who want you to pay off the mortgage on their investment; go with the quality hotel that goes the extra mile.
