The room was nothing like the pictures in the advertisement. Was just fairly acceptable to stay.

I stayed here for 12 nights during a business trip. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location where supermarkets and restaurants are around.

Yes parking was okay it was tight small parking lot cleaning to the room was it was okay

I had previously booked a room at another hotel it was a very horrific experience so I was nervous and it was a very last minute decision to go to Howard Johnson Inn , however when I arrived all my anxiety vanished the front desk were very helpful and empathetic to my situation. The cleaning staff whipped up a room for me in no time and everyone was amazing! Great service, clean rooms, wifi and continental breakfast definitely recommend!

The property is pet friendly. We brought our little Bichon. Check in was easy and quick. Hotel room was clean and basic. Air conditioner was loud. The hotel is on Lundy Lane so it's convenient but it's on a busy street. Do not expect quiet room. Easily heard next door neighbour conversation. Surprised to find hot water pressure pretty good in bathroom. Dove shampoo and conditioner, hand wash were provided, just missing body wash. We brought our own, so we don't bother asking the receptionist. Bath towels were old. Better to bring your own towels. Continental Breakfast includes sliced bread and coffee. There's a waffle machine but a long line up. We didn't eat breakfast there but got breakfast from Tim Hortons across the street.

The parking was a problem because I was charged $10. Please include this charge in your advertisement. I wouldn't have booked. The room had poor lighting. The bathroom requires a paint job and new caulking. The heating system was noisy. The room doesn't come with cable. You're expected to use your own Netflix account and register with ROKU. I was also charged another $10 for what I don't know. I would stay away from this place. I'd spend more to get better conditions.

Paper thin walls, smelled like smoke, cobbled together bathroom, uncomfortable beds with pillows like pancakes, toilet wasn’t working properly. I could go on. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it, but there are reasons why it’s so cheap.

I skipped breakfast, but the heat worked well to keep the room warm.

Great bang for your buck, the pet friendly option meant I didn't have to find a dog sitter. Staff were super friendly and helpful - Hemi was an absolute GEM! We will be back!

I didn’t use internet or breakfast services. My room’s sink drained very slowly backing up. Jet tub was difficult to turn on or keep running, fridge froze all my food and possibly damaged very expensive medication, which I will not know until I try to use tomorrow. I told the staff when I checked out, with the response of “hmmm ok”, nothing more.

Clean room, friendly staff, convenient for our needs

Negatives: Internet connection said good but you couldn't watch more then 1 minute of any show without it buffering and continuosuly disconnecting and needing reconnecting to the internet. My boyfriend had to use the hot spot on his phone so we could watch something. I was fine with the parking fee as it was clearly stated ahead of time. What I find decieving is they say a mini fridge is "available upon request". So after arriving and calling to request one, they then inform me its an additional $10/night. I would suggest the wording gets changed to "available upon request for an extra fee" so there is no confusion. But I do think its pretty cheap to not supply them in the rooms in this day and age. I stay at nice hotels and cheal motels across Ontario, and depending on my type of visits, even the smallest most basic rooms have still had fridges and microwaves in them. Hairdryer did not work. We were put in a corner room beside the housekeeping closet and in the morning the housekeepers stood outside talking and were generally loud and kept waking us up. It is a pet friendly motel. I was aware before booking it. But that should not mean that dogs can just sit in a room barking all night long. Positives: The heater in the room was exceptional. There was lots of hot water. I like the Dove shampoo and conditioner they supply in the big bottles. The jacuzzi tub got very hot, even though it fills very slowly, the jets worked well and it retained heat for over an hour.

Television kept disconnecting....toilet was running... language barriers

My stay was enjoyable. Upon arrival I were advised that the room category I had booked was unavailable due to a plumbing issue in the room. We were offered an alternate and recently renovated room and complimentary parking to make up for the issue. Facility itself is a bid dated and shows its age on the outside but the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was limited and entirely carbs. It would be nice to add a protein of some kind but as an included feature it was good. Overall value for dollar was very good and I would return.

It wasn't what I hoped for. Area want the nicest. Cleanliness wasn't up to my standards.

Rooms were clean, the continental breakfast wasn’t that great not many choices but the price we paid can’t complain
